iPad Air will fit in the safe, but you have to angle it to get it to fit in. It is a tight fit. Yes, there is an outlet under the bed, near the phone. We moved the phone to the lower shelf, and plugged in the usb tower and used to this area to charge all our devices.

Nice red sky this morning. We stayed in our favorite hotel in Elkin, NC last night. They are in the process of taking down Christmas decorations, but there are still quite a few up. Taking down decorations is something I have to look forward to when I get home. No rush for me, though.

We were just on Symphony before Christmas. It was kind of hit or miss, but I was able to get a latte from the machine in the Crown Lounge (Diamond lounge) at 5am some mornings. Other mornings, some things were empty in the machine. They would start servicing the machine around 6:30 as they brought out the breakfast items. Cafe Promenade has coffee early, but it is very strong.

We began our northward trek yesterday, which made for som interesting driving. The rain stayed west of us for the part of the drive from central Florida, until we got to I-26. It was heavy rain and high winds until we got north of Charlotte. Lots of crashes around that area. It made for an interesting drive. Today, we will get to see a mix of rain and snow on our last 400 miles.

After disembarking yesterday, we traveled to central Florida to visit with a couple friends. We have never been to this place before. All I can say is OMG, the things I wish I could unsee.

Knew I shouldn’t have taken the captain drinking last night. He is having trouble keeping a straight line. And what is up with that Carnival ship jumping our wake?

When we were at Coco Cay yesterday, there were tons of jellyfish in the water by the OW Cabanas. One little girl was catching them, and moving them away from their cabana. I am sure there are probably several environmental regulations she was violating, in doing this relocation.

It wasn’t crowded at all at the Beach Club. Although it said it was sold out, there were lots of open loungers, and only 3 or 4 of the OW Cabanas were in use. I guess they would rather see them empty than to charge a reasonable price for them. When we left that area, it did seem more crowded, but not too bad.

Not a very nice sunrise this morning, but seas are calm. Sea day today. They really should add a slide or something to get down to boardwalk quicker. 🤣🤣

Probably one and done for us now. Before the holidays, Beach Club for our August cruise was going for over $200 pp which I said would be too high. Just looked yesterday, and it is over $300 pp for that August cruise. It was nice for us yesterday.

One is a mudslide, and the other is a Union Jack Lava Flow.

Lunch today at Coco Beach Club Two ship in port Drinks tonight Aqua show later.

That was at Port Canaveral. It was on the end nearest the Carnival ship, so maybe that explains it.

Breakfast in the Allure Crown Lounge this morning. I just wish they would clean these windows. Still one of the nicest lounges remaining in the fleet. Was able to get a latte here at 5 am, but then the grounds needed emptied, and couldn’t get a second.

First one in today. Clouds to the east, so not a good sunrise in that direction.

Another mooring line perspective from yesterday. Today, we are in Coco Cay. We have Coco Beach Club reserved. I forgot about the old tech on Allure. Don’t know how many times I tapped my sea pass on the door, before I remembered it had to go in the slot to unlock the door.

We did National Express from Heathrow to Southampton. From Southampton to London, we used International Friends. Tours of Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge, and Windsor Castle were included, and they dropped us at our hotel.

First drink onboard, a Dublin Ice Tea. and guess what the bartender’s name is? Daryl. Guess I may need to hang out with this Daryl, since Daryl the llama went home with the kids. He was in need of some repairs.
