They have a continental breakfast and a coffee machine in the morning. At night the size of the spread depends a bit on the ship. Radiance had a smaller spread than oasis. Oasis had hot bins and more choices.

I love the vouchers for anything anytime. I'm not a big drinker and being able to order something in the spa or a fresh squeezed oj or a speciality coffee for me is better than any happy hour. Let the spa mix up a health drink or pick up vitamin water. .. rcl wins for me huge.

What I remember from before there was a actual bar and people rushed and pushed to order. There is no actual bar I've seen in the current diamond lounges, but there is someone taking drink orders, just doesnt have to be within happy hour hours. 4 pm ifmim sittingmthere he will ask if I want a drink. The food just isnt set out until 5 pm.

Vouchers are anytime anywhere. They can even be used on private islands like coco cay. (Unlike some competitors). Well ok not the bionic bar. A machine cant process a voucher. Anyplace there is a human bartender.

I think it's good rcl acted. I was on liberty last sept and over 50 posted to my roll call, never saw that many post on one thing. We all got a stomach virus friday around dinner..rcl yelled at me when I tried to report it. Said I got it in cozumel and I didnt even get off the ship. Said they are inspected so its impossible for it to have been their food or anything to do with them. Even those who called rcl were pretty much told whatever, if it's not covid we dont care. I got very sick. We thought was e coli but hard to prove afterwards though some got tested. Anything from food poisoning to e coli tests supposedly said. One lady even stayed in the hospital getting tested tying to find the cause. Rcl is not very responsive imo. .. I also got sick in dec, twice in a row and tested negative for covid so wasnt told tk stay in my cabin even though I was clearly sick. Rcl is hit or miss. Be glad they are taking measures.

I'm still convinced rcl cruisers love complaining more than other lines. They really enjoy complaining. Other lines are cutting back just as much but royal in particular likes to complain. It's a art form.. Even the OP said he enjoyed the diamond lounge where everyone sat around complaining.

I've noticed at my Kroger that the soft margarine has doubled in price but butter is often on sale. I'm sure price has something to do with it. Butter is cheaper now. I'll take either. Even cold.

Not if you have a central park cabin. It's in boardwalk, different neighborhood. You will see trees nd plants, maybe some people walking. Fake birds chirping.

My dec 13 2024 is very close. I just booked 3 of these about a month ago and that one was u usually high compared to the other 2 imo. I saw it within $12 of my group rate last week. My group rate is refundable my TA reminds me. My april 2025 southern is the highest doing a mock booking so I dont understand why this eastern is so darn high, higher than the more expensive southern. I'm close but dont want to lose my refundable until I get moved. My life is too uncertain. Wonder is the highest of what's in my signature. All heading up, though just one very close to group rate, hardly a deal but oh well. My upcoming sept allure was my best deal.

It's gotten to where unless you have casino rates even carnival is more than the old $100 a day. I cant tell you how many posts I've read saying if you want a cheap cruise go look at msc. MSC is the cheapest right now ..and its attracting those with low budget wanting it all for free.

Lol your useless loungers in the shade exactly what I couldn't find on oasis. I want one in the shade. Couldnt find one in the shes. There have been multiple threads about prices for everything. I booked some lunches and izumi a month or so ago, 28.99 plus tip 34.99 total. A week or so later went up $2. Now the base price of all I booked is 39.99 minus 10%. 34.99 I think plus tip. Anyway went up $7. ..in a month. Booked 5. While $35 not huge, it's a big price jump. Udp jumped over $100 on all my cruises for this year. $200 ish to about $350 pp plus tips. Clearly they are seeing what the market will bear. Most of your complaints are prices and sun loungers. Overcooked steak. They usually undercook mine but radiance last time was perfect. Best I ever had. Varys by ship I agree. I'm good with 4 pieces of sushi and a 2nd large dish and a small dish like soup and dessert. It's all I can eat.

I booked 3 since you posted this, though not a first time cruiser. Why would just first time cruisers be put off by higher and higher prices. They dont remember pre covid when you could book for $100 a day. I'd say more not less first timers because they dont remember what cruises cost pre covid. I'm still booking. Dont like new prices but still booking.

I did miracle not Pride but same class. This class has the most space per pax. Less crowded.

I have 5 blocks and dont remember any of them having a paper left in my cabin. I went in search of the loyalty ambassador. Asked if they had some onboard. I also called last march and was told it would be mailed in April. Came now in june. ..that's why I'm surprised out of the blue. Maybe now they have the new blocks they will get back to leaving papers. My last was my march 27 radiance. Got a old style block. Happy. This is my first new style.

I would ask on the cruise where it's due. One person, maybe john missed out on one they said he never asked. If the ship has them great. The for has a choice that you dont want the block. .. So I'd ask if nothing is said to be sure. Whatever your next cruise is, 7 days, so 14 pts it's due. Will be a block with that ships name. You cant push it forward to the next ship.

I just received my 2nd block. I have 5 now. My allure block was on back order since last year. Not sure how I have 5 total now. Just barely got radiance. The next 70 pts will take a while. Went on vacation and came home yesterday and this was sitting on my front porch, no telling for how long. Lucky burglars didnt take it. Amazing actually.

PC, is port Canaveral.. I wouldnt call it south florida. I plan on moving there by the end of next year. Maybe it's cheaper your way, but I dont like the added level of stress flying adds. If I can drive or uber to a port, seems better. Maybe when i said PC you are thinking port Everglades or something. Let's hope my move comes together. I do look forward to more choices but for now I just booked a few with new ports. .. before I'd fly to san juan. Getting too old to enjoy flying.

I felt they were more staid. Easier to find a game of bridge lol. Food was good though. Red and blue carpets along cabins. One side is port and the other starboard so you know which side your cabin is. Kinda neat. More dressy than rcl but imo rcl has no dress code any more.

I asked for it at the coffee cafe on rcl and got whipped creme. Why are you asking about ncl here? Rcl has it.

I just booked the april 2025 southern ABC islands on adventure out of PC. Making me feel better and better .. that I can see them all and NOT fly. No thanks. I dont see why people want to fly to san juan if they can leave from the USA. My next jan on carnival out of Galveston I see the A and C, not the B island...so now I'll see all 3. And not have to fly. What is the big attraction to san juan departures?
