We had over 100 pinnacles onboard, minus the 30 allowed in the suite lounge. I'd say the circle was at least 25 chairs. Didnt leave much seating for others. I didnt really care, just laughed to myself. Some friends made pinnacle and it takes 6 months to mail and they were worried about being accepted as a pinnacle before they got their pins. It was obvious.. and funny to me. I'm not sure how I'd feel sitting in a circle anyway, I'm a non joiner.

My experience 3 weeks on harmony when the keep out diamonds in effect. The pinnacles grabbed at least 2/3 of the chairs and dragged them into a huge circle. 2 pinnacle couples sat at a regular table where you first come in, the rest sat in a circle. It was clear D+ arent invited to the circle of chairs. Never saw this before, but I'm used to pinnacles being in the suite lounge. If this is how they act no surprise they were thrown out. I rarely eat any of the snacks and just kinda circled thru. I often did stop in the morning for coffee, but rarely snacks. My early dinner was at 5 pm so I didnt go every night. More amusing than anything. One of the Bella cruisers I'd meet on bella1 told me in a hoity voice, she had never meet me before when I sat down and said hello, she had left her seat in the circle to say hello to 2 other friends from bella1 and I hadnt realized she was waiting for them. After sying hello she went back to her seat in the circle. I'm not very social so not surprised someone didnt remember me. I did think it was clear they were like a club, needed a pin to join. Odd is how I'd describe it. Luckily I dont care about those snacks. I'm at 503 pts, need to book another 14 days and what I've booked I'll be one too lololol.

One night the blender was broker and it was iced or nothing for a cold coffee. I took iced with whipped creme on top. Still enjoyed it. Try the park cafe, some say it makes better coffee, though it opens later in the morning than park cafe. Also vitality cafe can make cold brews.

Royal is adding Bahamas tax increase to already booked cruises which I think is not right, though the loyal to royal all say well you cant expect royal to eat the increase. It was reported something like $12 to $16 pp . ..but on one I got a notice of $19 increase. So even the news release was a lie. I'm a solo pax, so it's me, just one person and more is added than royal even says. It's not a lot per person, I'm not cancelling but I do think once you book a line shouldnt be allowed to add more port taxes or fees. My first is harmony out of texas, 8 days to coco cay. I think the other is my xmas cruise, going to nassau I think and grand Bahamas. Didnt even know ships went to the grand Bahamas. Only a 6 day and grand bahamas was a switch. Maybe wherever they were going was c,used xmas day. Royal doesnt match if fees and taxes go down unless the ship feels like doing it, unlike carnival who always refunds any small overage.

Find a TA who might have group rates to save a little more off the price. Group rates are at least refundable a bit less if you can find a TA who has them. For me a inside view balcony about as cheap as a inside on this class, I'm D+ so get a nice balc disc. I'm booked ce trac park view balcony. Not my favorite, but priced right.

Well idk I suggested it. I booked it with friends, but it's not cheap. It's the newest oasis class out right now. Icon just started about a week ago, it's a new class, wonder is the newest oasis class. I am booked but just saying price reflects the newness of wonder. Utopia isnt out yet, but will be the last oasis class. I hope its nice, I'm booked feb 2025 on wonder, ..I'm booked on adventure b2b over xmas 2024. Eastern and then xmas. But it leaves the wrong day. I got most of them out of florida booked lol, but havent done wonder yet, feb 2025. But its booked.

The 6 day oasis the oldest oasis class is the best priced out of ft Lauderdale. The only other I could find leaving dec 22 or 23 was wonder 7 day and wonder up until utopia has been the newest and priced accordingly high. I looked at my xmas adventure and it leave dec 21 so not the dates you requested. Wonder 7 day is the only other choice I found 7 days from port Canaveral. Its eastern, my favorite.

If it's not there you are probably good but wouldnt hurt to check a month before tbh. Not sure when it first comes up, but they do have some idea who is booked and their loyalty level ahead.

It was on my b2b2b... weeks in advance. Just need to know where to look. All 3 weeks were already posted when someone found it weeks before.

Someone on my roll call clicked on that welcome aboard link a month in advance and saw it. I think you might have a idea anyway. .. a new ship coming into Galveston.. it was there 4 out of 5 weeks, not there the more expensive Thanksgiving week, but week before and 3 weeks after. Pinns and high loyalty can sniff out the better prices.

If there are mone out of miami matching your criteria except that 4 day showing on their site, a TA cant find one either. Ft Lauderdale of port Canaveral meet your dates over xmas but not miami.

Ft Lauderdale is right next to miami and there is a 6 day on oasis leaving dec 22.

I actually searched and only came up with this one. 4 days on allure out of miami. Nothing else I saw meets yours criteria. I'm doing 6 days on adventure over xmas out of PC that fits except it's out of the wrong port. It's a 6 day cruise I booked.

I've since had it. Luckily I'm not a big eater. I enjoyed the lobster but agree it was small. Cheese and something added to make it a little more filling. The post you replied to was written over a year ago lol. I've long since tried it. Liked it but liked wonderland better.

Grandeur has been my least favorite ship since covid though I did go on her first cruise out of texas. She wasnt ready for texas that's for sure. Bossy waiter who insisted on telling me what I could order. Bugs in my sink in the bathroom took 2 legs to get rid of. Etc. Ship had just come in from some island and not ready for a full ship. Pizza not hot. I did 4 legs, none were good.

IAH is twice as far as hobby. For me I'd fly into hobby which I've made in about 30 minutes depends on traffic. Dave says 45 minutes. I guess I have a lead foot, never took me that long.

I was on I think vista. Our roll call organised a private excursion to a private west end beach in roatan. A young lady, early 20s was offered a free massage and followed a guy into a bldg, out of sight of the others. Turned out to be grandson of owner. She ran out screaming because he touched her places he shouldnt have and the organizers put her in a taxi back to the ship. Accepting a free drink, free massage, walking out of sight of the group. She shouldnt have done that. Stay with the group. The fact it was a carnival cruise shouldnt have mattered. Sometimes victims make bad decisions though of course rape is never ok. Just saying also you need to be smart. Cautious.

Other than I read the victims were on a carnival ship, idk why carnival is even involved except it's bad publicity. They werent on a carnival sponsored excursion, they went off on their own. Things can happen bad anywhere.

Yep even I heard that's when carnival is doing the godmother naming thing feb 24 jubilee. Blogger said dont come, it will be too busy and you wouldnt get to see it.

I think it also depends on when you drop the 2nd pax. It's not a given you will get 2 pts as a solo booked as a double. Some have not gotten it.

Shows are free. There are a few things. That arm thing that goes in the air, sometimes free on port days but a cost. Coco cay free stuff but there are extras you can add on. That escape room. Not many non free stuff per ship.

Was it worth spending time there. Friends tell me it's so crowded it's not as fun as I probably expect. I thought I'd get a hotel near those trivoli steps n rome so I'm close to stuff to walk to see. So you didnt care for rome much? So far all I know is bring mosquito spray, rome has lots of mosquitoes. I can still add the 3rd leg. And end in athens. Never been to either. Leg 2 stops in 2 ports in greece so I'll be there as a port stop 2 ports .. but ends in rome. I stop in athens and another greece port already leg 2 I already booked. Just depends how long I want to stay.. or which city. I'm clueless lol. No idea. Just wanted something different.

Interesting. I'm going over in a balcony, but the next leg when I saw over 5k to keep my balcony my TA moved me across the hall inside for the port intensive leg where i end in rome. I didnt get a bunch of obc on my balcony but got it inside. Rarely would i move but for 1k i will since i plan on seeing these new ports and greece. I see leg 3 now went up in price already. I ran into some couple who booked inside for all 3 legs. I just booked 2 and hope to spend a few days in rome seeing stuff. I'm getting to where now i can go further and not have someone to worry about. I didnt know that's why i got so much more inside cabin. Not a great price imo, but I'm there and I'd like to see greece. The 3rd leg ends in athens instead of greece. Any thoughts which city you would rather explore? Rome or athens? You are right ... that's probably why a balcony for the 13 days going over had almost no obc. Like maybe I got $50 early booking only. My first TA so playing it by ear. Didnt notice before. Sticking with my balcony for the trip over.

I see it after I click on the date, first page where you input your stuff. see at the bottom .. I have only been looking at europe lately though, not Caribbean.

I noticed nice obc for europe sailings. My 10 days I got a nice obc. I see if I add a 3rd leg right now they offer $150. I havent seen it on other siblings I'm on.
