I booked the same date I'm pretty sure, at $1,011 when it first came out. Or very close. Just over 1k. I really thought long and hard about should I give up that fare. I finally cancelled and crossing my fingers I get moved to CP. Booked b2b on adventure at not particularly great prices. I'm telling myself the air fare would bring the prices a lot closer if i flew to houston. I'm still booked on harmony oct 12 I think is the date. 8 days out of texas to coco cay. Maybe will be right in the middle of my move. I'll cross that bridge when I'm mentally ready. It took me 6 months or so I think to decide to cancel dec 8 2024 on harmony with a good price. You must have booked later after the price went up. I think we are the same level.

Captain james just came aboard last week. Had a canadian captain before last week. I feel sure he didnt get off and is still there. Though the front desk and crew seems u aware he is aboard. As I posted in my thread about no more separate invites on harmony. The sheet you can get at guest services says our captain is canadian and a NJ guy at my table says obviously that's a fake accept. I asked why and he said he asked a crew member who said our captain is from canada.

Oh we went there last saturday for lunch. As you said the choices are slim I'm day 1 2 3 or 7. I dont recognize that thing with all the cherry tomatoes. We tried those garlic rolls though. And quite a few other things. Enjoyed.

It is odd sometimes. I have friends looking to join me on mariner may 6 doing its maiden voyager from texas. Even with a group price and d+ balcony he is paying over 2k for a balcony on mariner. I see balconys on harmony same week at $1800 direct .. probably central park, but cheaper than a balcony on mariner. Harmony balconys are cheaper than the smaller older ship that has fewer balconys.

If you can find a solo cabin, it's obvious though I think you have to call. I've found a few and get to where you fill in your name and give your cc and then error .. wouldn't go thru. For me I want the 2 pts per regular cabin but I pushed over 340 pts to get to the solo discount. Often a regular cabin might be cheaper than a solo cabin. I personally dont want one. There are ships google lists as having solo cabins plus a few older ships have 3 or 5 solo cabins way down on lower decks, depends on ship. I got one assigned once but didnt go. I booked a inside gty last minute and got a solo cabin on radiance.

Wonderland was terrific. I was hesitant but well worth a visit. Also did izumi x 2 and Jamie's. So much good food. Yes the newly named crown lounge down on deck 4. Near the casino. I'd say both embark and debark went well. I got off sunday after being on 3 weeks if you think of other questions.

I was surprised he managed to see Columbus. Was only 2 nights and the 2nd got cancelled. I heard the guy that played columbus lost his voice so they did a Christmas show instead they were working on for this week. Onboard feels a lot like Christmas already.

Wow we were so lucky I guess. We said well anytime between 7:30 and 8 is fine no rush. Sometime half way between we walked forward, it's almost always faster in the forward elevator. There was a sign to the exit in the promenade and we just literally kept right on walking. Walked right on out. Hardly any crowd where I was. I texted my shuttle and they said walk down to blue 3 and I did and got on and was back in 10 minutes to pick up the rest of us. Went to Buckeyes and wasted some time then onto hobby. I was home past dallas by 2:30. Only one accident on I45 driving home. Not bad. Lol i stopped at a truck stop that has hardees. Along I45 but not in dallas. Ordered a western hamburger which was perfect. I hadnt had one onboard. Dont like rcls as much.

I'm with the OP. Rcl has the same effect on me. I dont belong to any other clubs, airlines or hotels. Nothing but this. I want that next thing. Carnival blew it. You hit diamond, their top tier any then nothing and one free pay dinner, one upgrade. ... once you use these 2 perks there is nothing else beyond the 200 pt level. Nothing to gain by doing that "get to the next perk". Even at pinnacle royal has started to draw me in, ok if you do more pts we will give you a free cruise. Though beyond pinnacle not as much to keep drawing me in, but not there yet. Usually pinnacles get a better lunch at the cheers with a officer, though on harmony we got the good steak. I think first time I've ever had it. I had always stayed away thinking they couldn't cook it enough, but 2 out of 3 they did. One week was red inside. I am in between MW and well, a step before its shoe leather. Allure we got rib eye and pinnacles a fillet...so harmony I say fabulous food lol. And would also order this fillet mignon again. I know that its true to get to pinnacle cost 1000s as someone posted, I still feel a pull to get there. Rcl knows me! Ha. I can feel the pull just to conquer that mountain. Imo its structured to pull you in like it does me. Lol I'm even happy with upgraded toiletries so I dont have to bring shampoo and condition. I admit i love free free. ..even if i paid to get there. I dont care how many post it's stupid to feel this way, to get to the next tier. I admit I would rather have a free perk than pay for it directly. Carnival doesnt make me want more, rcl program does. Carnival btw I hit diamond, doing that journey cruise out of texas jan 13 2023 and I absolutely dont care, except I have heard rumblings of changing carnival loyalty program so maybe it's not a bad idea to go ahead and nail diamond over there, not for the current perks, just who knows how they might change it. Their only good perk imo is priority boarding and tenders and debarking. I'd rather keep them as is so doesnt hurt I'll turn diamond, just their one time special rewards arent structured with the same allure as rcl. For me. I say go for it OP. Tune out the nay sayers.

Top tier party was the top aerialist not any divers. Idk if it was planned or the weather. I am sure more would have attended I talked to, who just didnt know about it. We had a medical emergency and during the event we docked in cozumel through out all this. If you peeked below the big tv screens you could see cozumel. Top tier party. Took lots of pictures, not sure which are best but this is what we saw.

Lol idk even what 2S is as I never saw that before. what kind of inside Cheapest for me as a solo is a connecting inside. What I meant by idk what you input, I click on the apply promo and discount tab to enter codes, texas and senior. It does seem like its random which discounts it takes. I'm looking for a category. Like 4v etc. What is a 4S inside? My total price for a deck 9 inside is under 3k but still a lot. I agree. 1 taxes and fees added. $2700 ish My deck 9 price inside shows as ..connecting inside. Idk but sounds like you said you booked the first jan 2023 and then other was as of dec 2023. The price went up. Were the screen shots taken the same exact day. If not .. then yes of course prices have gone up. Idk enough to know what variables you entered. If I did it I'd have a completely different price.

Lol I think I had 2 alcoholic drinks in 3 weeks on harmony. Though I did get turned on to ginger beer, like ginger ale except stronger ginger taste. Near the end. 2 cold coffees and a few soft drinks. Fresh squeezed oj. I doubt I spent $40 per week on drinks but I still love having that option. I MIGHT want a drink. I enjoyed having fresh squeezed oj most mornings. It's still a nice luxury even if you dont drink a lot. I enjoyed my wifi coupon. The last 2 weeks I got online Wednesday night for 19.99. Cheapest ever so I said YES. I get upgraded toiletries, and I use the shampoo and cream rinse. Saves me having to pack it. Flying is easier liquid wise. It's not the monetary value precisely it's more it's a small stress less having it. Wifi cost Wednesday night x 2 weeks. Best I've seen.

I agree they are the best. I have said I chased pts last year to hit 340 for the solo discount. And while it is awesome, I didnt really get to use it asap, not royals fault. No other line gives me a discount on all cabins. People post well so and so has these tiny solo cabins, go do them. I think it's nice rcl let's me have a full sized regular cabin. And a extra loyalty solo pt. I'm doing a 2 week carnival journey cruise next month and will miss my free wifi and 5 drinks a day. It's enough to make me think twice about booking other lines where that costs a lot more.

Too much scenery to be moved about and the ship is still rocking too much. The night before we drove straight through a storm which was kinda fun but I'm guessing Columbus also got cancelled and it's only shown the last 2 nights. And missed some dive shows. The storm we went through night 6 the winds were above the speed of our ship. And top tier party last week was a aerialist not any diving which idk if it was because of the weather or just changed. During top tier we had a emergency stop in cozumel to drop off a medical emergency so in the background behind the screens you could see us docking in cozumel and then leaving. First week with the new way of inviting just a generic little thing up on the corner of a sheet, so not particularly well attended, due to people not knowing they were invited. It just was a unusual week. If you missed columbus last week I hope you get to see it this week. It's really cute.

I think I'm in the I'll believe it when I see it category. I think the large ships make so much money, I can't imagine them making a smaller ship where they can charge enough to make it worth it for royalcaribbean. Maybe celebrity.

Often the 7 night is cheaper as harmony has lots of inside balconys. This week for me a inside was $16 more than a central park balcony though $50 more obc. The early booking bonus in my case wasnt combinable with a discount on a balcony. Even platinum gets a balcony bonus, not many pts. Find a ta with cheaper group rates. Why 4 days. Often as a per day the 5 day is cheaper. I pushed for pts as a solo last year in may when grandeur came to texas. I needed 18 pts. I did 5 5 5 4. It was cheaper to do 19.

Since you only quoted a partial sentence I'm not sure who I was referring to being D+. I'm getting off harmony this morning. Many didnt go to top tier that would have but didnt know about, dont know how many D+ missed the lunch, but yes I'm sure you know it for 340 pts. And above. I knew the lunch was day 2 because it was my 3rd week onboard. Or I'd have missed it. Always had it day 3. Imo the print could be bigger. I cant read it without my reading glasses.

I would not do this. I didnt have a cabin once but I know the porters at the terminal have a list with all pax and their assigned cabins. I had to go to him first to get my assigned cabin before I could check in at the terminal. Was a very last minute booking. No way would I not ask a porter for a blank tag and write my cabin number on it correctly.

Well you might want to book at least 1 kid with MIL. Many of us are saying adventure is gold plated. It's the busiest port in the world. I expect more on utopia who us doing 3 and 4 day sailings.
