We are bigger ship fans. We just cruised Voyager out of Galveston and wished we were on a bigger ship due to the entertainment and food choices. I don't think we would ever consider Radiance unless it was stopping at ports we wanted to go to. We wouldn't cruise it for the ship experience. With that said Aruba and Curacao are 2 favorites for us. We enjoy cruising out of Galveston. I wish they had a better choice of ports.

They do seem to have gotten smaller since the start up. Maybe they are using the colossal shrimp on lobster night! 😆 -

Good to see everything is going smooth this cruise! You may of already mentioned but is this your first time with the Key? Am I going to be able to see a pic of your 1st ice cream cone. Also it looks like you are still on central time. Isn't the ship on eastern time? -

Wow, so thankful I saw this. We are booked to cruise out of Seattle in June. After seeing your direct flight I found a direct flight out of st Louis taking 4.5 hours on Alaska airlines! -

Happy Anniversary Greg and Linda! Have a great adventure! Thanks for taking the time to do a review. -
I agree. Reminds me when my middle daughter brought home a BMI report from school that said that based on her BMI she was borderline obese! What a joke! She had been in gymnastics several years and very muscular. We were thankful she had not looked at the report. We told the school not to do this report on her again. Who knows what effect that would of had on her if she would of read she was borderline obese!

I would love to have it in January but I don't think it would work. We were unable to get an accessible room for this cruise so I don't know if it would fit through the door. Also I don't want to risk damage flying with it. We are currently working on getting the Highlander set up to be able to haul it on a hatch but driving from here to Miami is almost a 17 hour drive without stopping so I don't think I could handle that. We are in a guaranteed balcony. I wish we could confirm the width of the door. If we are unable to rent a scooter or electric wheelchair we have the Rollator that converts to a transport chair. I am sure we will enjoy meeting up!

We enjoy cruising out of Galveston. We really enjoyed staying at the Habor House at Pier 21. Our next cruise is on Icon. I am betting the food and entertainment will be great! They showed previews of it while we were on the Voyager. The ice skating rink is round and if the show is anywhere close to what they were hinting at it should be great!. There is going to be a walk up Izumi. I bet I will try it out a time or 2. Good to hear you will reach Diamond by Bella 2! Even more I am excited we will be meeting! BTW, I'm not saying the ice show was bad, just not as good as others. Please go see it. You might like it.

We did the MDR 4 nights and Windjammer one night. There is NOT a Solarium Bistro. We enjoyed most of the meals we had. The only bad food I had was some Asian skewers in the WJ. The meat was very tough. Different options to eat at was one of the biggest things we missed. Overall we did not like the entertainment. Maybe a B- for the ice skating. The shows were poor. We left the 2nd early and stopped going after that. We did have an am/pm option for room service. With all that said everyone has different taste for food and entertainment. I think the larger ships meet are expectations better. I am still thankful we did it. Nice to get away and fun hanging around with the other 3 we cruised with. When are you cruising? Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

We just got back from a 5 day cruise. Following your review was encouraging. It was my 1st wheelchair cruise. The problems I had was more with the rental company. They left me a different chair than the one they confirmed. Also they mounted the joy stick on the right side when they agreed to mount it on the left and they didn't leave a charger 🙄. I ran over my wife's foot and a friend's foot and plowed into some chairs. 😆 They are reimbursing. I am next cruising Icon. We were unable to book an accessible room. I am wondering what I can use. We will be in a guaranteed balcony. Worst case my DW can push me around in a transport chair.

Has anyone seen this type of water bottle on cruises before? You snap the cap open instead of twist. It stays connected. It was getting in the way while drinking until we learned to push it further and it locks back. This was the 1st time we used a European plug adapter. It sure did help! The room had 2 US plugs and one European. We used this setup for the US plug. Also, there was no plug-in by the bed. I needed one for my CPAP like (Trilogy) machine. So we did this trick which worked great. It's magnetic hooks holding up our extention cord.

Ice Odyssey was the name of the show. Something cool just happened. I was making this response in the Windjammer. I couldn't remember the song Reach so I YouTube it. I am about 1/2 way through the song and..... The song starts playing in the Windjammer! ... what are the odds! None of us remember the Song being in the show. Several songs from Tommy. We were on Voyager in 2011. Don't remember the show.
