Got home a few hours ago. While we were gone a storm came through Wednesday night. 7 inches of rain and knocked our electricity out for 12 hours. Looks like the fridge will be emptied out. Finnley's family lives about 5 minutes from here. Part of their backyard fence was blown over and looks like some water damage in their house. And now, for some unknown reason, our electricity has gone out again and has been off over an hour! On the plus side our bathroom remodeling is about done. Some guys came over while we were gone and finished most of it. There is a strip on the ceiling where the wall was torn down that needs dry wall and resurfaced. We have a guy that wants to do that for us too. Nice to have the master bathroom back. No more climbing upstairs for a shower!

Well it shouldn't change. These days absolute things are twisted. I remember my kids were being taught the "new math" methods in High School. It made calculations so much more confusing. I would explain old school algebra and then they would understand both ways.

Caden loves setting up tournaments. He sets them up for March Madness, the baseball playoffs, etc. While at Lakeside he set up a shuffleboard tournament. He picked me as his teammate. He did not know it but his uncle ordered trophies for the winners. He was so excited when we won and we got trophies 🏆!

Oops. I just noticed word correction changed Finnley to one n and it will not let me edit. Finnley has been taken care of at our house throughout the week, while mom worked, since she was born. Monday she starts daycare. It will be a sad week. We love having her. We will still have her on Fridays. It will help us with our withdrawal. At least Sharon can sleep in when she needs to now.

@Luckynana Happy Birthday Maryann! You are sharing the day with Finnley's first birthday! We celebrated her birthday Monday. We are all on the road today. We celebrated a few other August birthdays later in the week. The kids love to do it at Lakeside.

Our group is in 4 different vehicles and started at different times. 1st made it early and already at the Stadium, we are at Sharon's DB now. 3rd was not far behind us and is going straight to the Stadium. We just hit the Cincinnati area and passed the stadiums 🏟. Got here at a bad time. Added an hour to driving.

May of 2022 we had our Hawaii cruise canceled. We replaced it with Alaska. I was not sure I would like it because I don't like cold. We all got together on Ovation in 270 on the Hawaii to Canada cruise. Her dancing to Foot Loose was impressive!
