  1. Have done many of the 3 night cruises. Really not substantially different of an environment than other cruises. They aren’t cheap anymore. It’s not like it’s really affordable for young people to take a booze cruise on an old ship unless it’s Liberty in the winter or CCL.
  2. There is plenty of room for them to appeal to millennial or younger cruises without kids looking for an upscale experience, but they are doing the opposite cutting their quality and food. Millennials are foodies and like experiences- which they are going away from. Definitely an identity crisis and they’re making all the wrong moves along the way.
  3. Both. You can have menu items from before but for an added charge. Additionally, some of the other options are no longer offered or have been replaced with cheaper options.
  4. Classic is fine for us. I can easily get by with bottled water and their selection of beer, wine, soda, specialty coffees, and liquor. Never in the 9 days of our last cruise did I ever have a second thought or desire to have upgraded.
  5. I hope they aren’t following a year behind Royal on all this crap. I pay for an elevated experience. Royal is not even enjoyable anymore they’re cut so many corners.
  6. We don’t need them too. It’s easy to look up. We know it’s a 6 night. That doesn’t clear everything up. Any decent food has an up charge.
  7. Please. I would like to email regarding the new abysmal menu changes on Equinox.
  8. The main point is not the lobster, it’s the fact that half of the menu is now up-charge items and the complementary items are garbage.
  9. It just kills me whenever I read their line about “menus crafted by michelin star chefs”.
  10. Same thing on Equinox. They ran out mid week and then ran out of some liquors on the last weekend. Bar staff said they had cut their purchasing and it’s hard to anticipate the following week’s preferences. Was never an issue before…
  11. Please do. In the past the only way to successfully reverse changes like this with Royal and Celebrity has been a lot of backlash via emails to execs and social media. Social media really hits them where it hurts.
  12. I am shocked they haven’t come up with some form of meatloaf. Mystery meat.
  13. HAHA! Right. But she won’t care, it’s just padding her bonus. She’ll be eating well elsewhere.
  14. The turkey and then the potatoes for an entree options really get me. Adding a burger to that- OMG.
  15. And staff has spoken to the fact that there is no lobster.
  16. It has been rumored that was a reason Lisa stepped down- she wasn’t willing to cut the Celebrity brand the way RCCL execs were pressuring her to.
  17. Yes. Indian selection daily at lunch and dinner- a whole buffet section. I do not recall grilled vegetables, but there is a grilled section with plain grilled chicken breast, minute steak or bone in pork chops (alway rock hard- don’t recommend), and tilapia. There are sautéed veggies beside these. Have not noticed any chefs specials- just a huge skillet presentation on some occasions at lunch. One time was macaroni and cheese, one day paella, etc.
  18. Lol. I was on the 8 night two weeks ago and lobster was served, but there were also no premium selections that week. I will add- both sailings this month we have been taken aback by the lack of cleanliness of our cabin and bars. Both sailings we have found trash from the previous week and the floors were not clean. Makes you wonder.
  19. OVC has slipped. No salmon or good fish- tilapia and fish and chips is all I have seen at lunch and dinner. 2-3 stations open for dinner nightly generally the same food as lunch with a few twists. Chicken is mostly bone in dark meat. Large salad and dessert selections but primarily flavorless dressings and dessert. If you look hard, you can find 1-2 desserts per day that are dense and rich, but most are the bland and fluffy- taste like nothing cake and pies. Anything in particular you were interested in knowing?
  20. Onboard. Menus are accurate. No more lobster or tournedos on less than 7 nights per staff.
  21. Negative comments on social media is the only way this is going to be addressed.
  22. Start reaching out them on social media. Comment on their posts. Message them. This is unacceptable. Entree options of tilapia, turkey, fried potatoes, etc. and then charging for any decent quality options. Heck no- that’s gone too far.
