  1. Can’t wait to see what dates are available. I’m going to book one! I have a premier coming up! Your video on the ultra cruises is really good!
  2. Just off the vista today. We had a FH suite with connecting balcony and they were quite close to the FH lounge. We heard no noise from the galley above us. I would book this combo again in a heartbeat. The lounge set up was great for the kids and the camp was not difficult to get to.
  3. It is what i suspect. I’m looking at a couple of these rooms because they are connecting and will hold 4 each. However that location may not work. Thanks for the info.
  4. No. We did visit the shop on multiple occasions and I think they need to restock their stuffies after the kids were there but no ice cream.
  5. Just off Vista today. here’s a short sweet and to the point run down. It was my first vista class. My favorite is spirit class. Overall the ship was very clean and nice. I was underwhelmed upon boarding because I totally love the classic carnival atrium. It might be time to return to the victory and triumph post renovation. I found the ship more difficult to navigate and just couldn’t get my bearings. The layout was not intuitive. We had a family harbor suite and connecting balcony. The room set up was fantastic for 5 kids 2 parents and one Grama. The family harbor lounge was really convenient for getting the kids breakfast. I’ve seen quite a few comments about the FH suite location being under the galley and I found it very quiet. I never heard noise at night and no one even noticed any out of the ordinary noises. Anyway service was mostly good. Only a couple of times did I have trouble getting a drink in the casino so that’s good. The lido buffet seating area was plentiful. I was able to find a table or tables to fit 8 everytime I tried. We ate in the dining room once and it was good ish. We ate in the steakhouse twice and it was excellent both times. Blue iguana and guys were both great as always. I didn’t go to any shows or comedy so I can’t comment on those. My grandkids really enjoyed camp carnival and asked to go when they could. The kids old enough to do the ropes and sky ride really liked those as well. Embarkation was unbelievable. Our check in time was 1030 and our boarding number was A01. We arrived at the door to check in at 1015 and walked straight through and on to the ship. Debarkation was as seamless. We had #1 luggage tags, went to the dining room at 0800 as specified and we were on the road at 0820. This is just my 2 cents. if there are any specific questions feel free to ask.
  6. I’m looking forward to your views on this ship and I love your YouTube channel!
  7. Let’s hear about the Bonaire excursion. I’m heading back there this year
  8. Jim, I have the poolside cabana for my grandkid cruise coming up. It did not show up in the excursions to purchase for a while after I booked. I just kept looking. Anyhoo, I'll let you know how we like it.
  9. are zipline and water slide passes included with the cabana? I thought I read somewhere it is. Anyway, I have this booked in a few weeks and need to get passes for the grands if not included. Thanks in advance.
  10. The price of convenience should also be considered. It is nice knowing that your drink cost regardless of the type of drink is covered. I get the cheers package and I tend to fall a little short of breaking even but not enough to quibble about. I like the convenience therefore I get it.
  11. Many thanks for this information👆. I was going to wait until closer to my travel but this post made me go to the website and find a plan. I downloaded the sample contract and since it meets my needs ordered my plan through Trip Insurance Store. It’s very nice to have that taken care of!
