  1. Actually it finishes at ten every day, not just sea days. (Not offered on disembarkation morning.)
  2. The MDR will only be open for lunch on Sea days. On port days it is never open. sushi is one possible option for lunch. It isn’t always open on every day of every cruise, so check their schedule On some cruises, on one of the sea days there may be a special lunch in Tuscan.
  3. Thank you. Ponant is not on my radar at all.
  4. Ah, now I understand. For 2024 you would have to pick a different cruise line to do a transatlantic leaving from Rome.
  5. It would be helpful to know why the OP decided to use the ship transfer
  6. I’m confused. With what purpose was the OP trying to contact Celebrity?
  7. It might not be a bad idea. We don’t know enough about the OP’s situation. it could be a good idea for someone who is not from the US and doesn’t have any US currency and doesn’t want to use their credit card because of the conversion fees. It could be a good idea for someone who doesn’t speak English very well. It could be a good idea for someone who has onboard credit to burn through. It could also be part of a travel package and be prepaid, which would make taking a taxi silly because then you would be paying twice.
  8. It would help if you would tell us the names of the ports. When you are on the ship, you can go to the Shore Excursions desk and ask to be put on a waitlist for a sold out excursion.
  9. You have probably missed it because it is called the Coffee Lounge, not Breakfast. It is definitely still an Elite perk.
  10. Something is amiss. It’s about a 15 minute drive from the cruise port to the airport. They will want everyone off the ship by 930 latest. Putting those two things together, it looks like they are implying that the transfer wouldn’t leave until 11:15, which makes no sense. I have taken ship transfers many many times in Fort Lauderdale. They usually leave between eight and nine, and off and there are several buses spaced out during that time frame. So that would put one at the airport between 8:30 and 9:30, not 11:30. So somewhere the information you are seeing has gotten muddled. The only reason I know of to take the ship transportation is if you have onboard credit that needs to be used up. You can book the transfer once you were on the ship, and there is no reason to do it ahead of time, so you could straighten out the time issue at guest relations who will advise you which transfer time to book. or, if the ship transfer is pre-booked for you as part of a pre-paid package, guest relations can advise you as to your transfer options. as noted, Fort Lauderdale is an easy airport to get to. If you decide not to take a ship’s transfer tgere will be several other easy and inexpensive choices.
  11. It’s new…,for a change they have a good idea to test on equinox!
  12. Suites have normal balconies. Also the porthole Verandahs have normal balconies. And as you noted, SV have them too. SV are very popular and can be hard to book.
  13. There is some flexibility in allowing you to order wines that are served in other venues. But there are other wines that are simply not available outside their original venue. Roxanne, a wine from Sting’s winery, is only served in Tuscan.
  14. They are not, in fact. Zero proof. Very low alcohol would be a better descriptor. They are NOT included in the zero proof package.
  15. One more thing you should know, the concierge is a member of a team of concierges, which includes the Captains Club host, who share duties. If one of them is busy, you can consult one of the others.
  16. If you don’t care about having a sun deck, then any ship will do. They all have a private suite lounge. They all have a Luminae dining room for suites.
  17. The concierge will do these things but it is often faster or easier just to do them yourself
  18. When you have spent all your non refundable credit, on shore excursions or spa services or wherever then they start to dip into your refundable credit, and when that’s all used up the rest will be paid on your credit card or settled in cash on the last day. You can’t designate on-board credit money for specific uses because they just use it in order as the cruise progresses.
  19. A veranda stateroom will get you 3 extra Captains Club points for Go Green no matter how long the cruise is. The rep was wrong.
  20. Remember that Blu is not open for lunch and the MDR only serves lunch on sea days, not port days.
