  1. It would help if you would tell us the names of the ports. When you are on the ship, you can go to the Shore Excursions desk and ask to be put on a waitlist for a sold out excursion.
  2. You have probably missed it because it is called the Coffee Lounge, not Breakfast. It is definitely still an Elite perk.
  3. Something is amiss. It’s about a 15 minute drive from the cruise port to the airport. They will want everyone off the ship by 930 latest. Putting those two things together, it looks like they are implying that the transfer wouldn’t leave until 11:15, which makes no sense. I have taken ship transfers many many times in Fort Lauderdale. They usually leave between eight and nine, and off and there are several buses spaced out during that time frame. So that would put one at the airport between 8:30 and 9:30, not 11:30. So somewhere the information you are seeing has gotten muddled. The only reason I know of to take the ship transportation is if you have onboard credit that needs to be used up. You can book the transfer once you were on the ship, and there is no reason to do it ahead of time, so you could straighten out the time issue at guest relations who will advise you which transfer time to book. or, if the ship transfer is pre-booked for you as part of a pre-paid package, guest relations can advise you as to your transfer options. as noted, Fort Lauderdale is an easy airport to get to. If you decide not to take a ship’s transfer tgere will be several other easy and inexpensive choices.
  4. It’s new…,for a change they have a good idea to test on equinox!
  5. Suites have normal balconies. Also the porthole Verandahs have normal balconies. And as you noted, SV have them too. SV are very popular and can be hard to book.
  6. There is some flexibility in allowing you to order wines that are served in other venues. But there are other wines that are simply not available outside their original venue. Roxanne, a wine from Sting’s winery, is only served in Tuscan.
  7. They are not, in fact. Zero proof. Very low alcohol would be a better descriptor. They are NOT included in the zero proof package.
  8. One more thing you should know, the concierge is a member of a team of concierges, which includes the Captains Club host, who share duties. If one of them is busy, you can consult one of the others.
  9. If you don’t care about having a sun deck, then any ship will do. They all have a private suite lounge. They all have a Luminae dining room for suites.
  10. The concierge will do these things but it is often faster or easier just to do them yourself
  11. When you have spent all your non refundable credit, on shore excursions or spa services or wherever then they start to dip into your refundable credit, and when that’s all used up the rest will be paid on your credit card or settled in cash on the last day. You can’t designate on-board credit money for specific uses because they just use it in order as the cruise progresses.
  12. A veranda stateroom will get you 3 extra Captains Club points for Go Green no matter how long the cruise is. The rep was wrong.
  13. Remember that Blu is not open for lunch and the MDR only serves lunch on sea days, not port days.
  14. Some of it might be usable before the cruise. Sign in to your booking and you should see a message that you have on board credit to use.
  15. I’m surprised there isn’t one touting CocoCay. The month’s not over, though.
  16. Because this gets asked so often I've compiled a list of things to spend OBC on. The only thing I know of now that you CAN'T buy with OBC is a deposit on a Future Cruise. You need a credit card for that. Also, there may be some card game in the casino with a cash only buy-in. And if they do a fundraiser, like selling t-shirts to “save the reefs” and the like, expect to need cash for that. Otherwise, here you go: *Acupuncture *Airport transfers *Alcove Rental (some ships) *Apple products etc. and Ilounge classes *Art Auction Purchases *Babysitting *Barber Shop services *Behind the Scenes Tours *Beverages -- Alcoholic, carbonated soft drinks, specialty coffees and teas, bottled water — if not in your package, also beverages above your package limits *Bingo and Deal or No Deal *Bottles of wine *Casino *Chef’s Table *Corkage charged if you bring your own bottles of wine to the MDR *Duty free liquor and cigarettes *Extra cost entrees and other items in Main Dining Room and specialty restaurants *Extend Your Stay program *Fitness classes *Flowers *Gelato *Gift shop souvenirs, purses, watches, cosmetics, clothing, jewelry, etc. *Gratuities, and extra gratuities *Guests dining with you in Luminae (applies to Suite Passengers only) *Guest entertainers' CD's and DVD's *Hair and nail salon *Hollywood hot glass experiences (some ships) *Internet if not in your package, also Internet upcharges *Laundry/pressing/drycleaning *Liquor Tasting events *Luggage Valet *Martini Flights *Medical Center purchases *Mini bar *Portrait photo sessions *Pay-per-view movies *Persian Gardens passes *Personal Training Sessions *Photos & cameras *Room service fees *Ryde spinning classes *Shore Excursions *Shuttle to town (some ports) *Spa -- massages and treatments *Specialty restaurants *Teeth Whitening *Telephone calls using ship's system *Transfer to another passenger's account *Voyage in Review DVD *Wine and liquor tastings *Zumba They will always use non-refundable OBC first, then refundable OBC, And if you run out of that then it goes on your credit card
  17. The specialty restaurants are not included in any all inclusive gratuity package. If you are in one of the upper suites where a specialty restaurant is included in your booking, so is the gratuity. for all others, When you book a specialty restaurant, you are also charged a gratuity, regardless of whether you have the all inclusive package or not. The gratuities in the all inclusive package cover the dining room staff (and housekeeping staff), not specialty restaurants.
  18. This is a live review, perhaps you can ask the poster to check on the bar offerings for you
  19. The dinner menus are the same no matter where the Celebrity ships are in the world. They may put in some locally-sourced or locally-inspired food in the buffet at lunch, however.
