  1. Celebrity’s rules are the same for all embarkation ports. no limit on the amount of water you can bring aboard.
  2. You cannot take the same ship from Hawaii to Seattle. The fact that the first cruise ends in Vancouver and the second one starts there has nothing to do with it. You would be on the same ship from Hawaii to Seattle and that is not allowed.
  3. Yes, I wasn’t clear earlier. We don’t change time for PV. We will change once more before LA. ship time now is 8:52 PV time now is 8:52 LA time now is 7:52
  4. That pretty much sums it up. Everything looked OK until it wasn’t
  5. Yes the last two time changes on that schedule were errors. I asked at guest services a few days ago and they contacted the navigation officer who confirmed that there will not be changes before and after Puerto Vallarta.
  6. The booze from the bar may have had some involvement 🤪😵‍💫😳
  7. Even if you order a half portion, it will waste the other half because it’s very doubtful that someone else will order a half portion. They will make a full portion, cut it in half and serve it to you and discard the rest. That’s just inevitableEven if you order a half portion, it will waste the other half because it’s very doubtful that someone else will order a half portion. 8. Typically, when there is inclement weather, they allow children into the solarium for a short period of time every day. Otherwise children probably wouldn’t be interested in being in there.
  9. 6:30 AM arrival time at this port man up early due to the sound of the lines being deployed to tie us up to the dock. At the port stop briefing, they stressed not to leave the port area except on a shore excursion. Apparently there is some petty crime and independent exploration is not encouraged
  10. Boy I sure messed up that spelling
  11. I think they are anticipating the upcoming Alaska season on millennium, when there will be more children. Most families are very respectful of the hours posted. Yes there is the occasional scofflaw, but a word to security or an officer generally takes care of it quickly Should you happen to see someone in violation of the rules, remember that the crew who are setting out towels and cleaning up the area are really not there to enforce the rules, but they can quickly summon someone who has the needed authority. to the OP, in general, children and Celebrity are not a problem. And by 5 o’clock, most adults are off having their pre-dinner cocktails, or dressing for the evening, and the pool wouldn’t be in use for that time anyway. If that is your preferred time to swim, I wouldn’t really worry about children interfering with your enjoyment of the solarium
  12. Premium can also get glass bottles of water….Aqua Panna or Vennnoo
  13. My dislike of edge has been voiced here and elsewhere. I recommend solstice it for no other reason than the sky lounge for the amazing views of Alaska.
  14. It’s a one off itinerary, the Canal transit is on many bucket lists, it’s 15 days during the school year so you can practically be assured there won’t be any children on board, so very appealing to experienced Celebrity cruisers who have done the Caribbean to death and want something different but don’t want to do a transatlantic
  15. Not necessary to book on board to get that. You just need to have cruised before with Celebrity.
  16. Amazing how you can remember what you were like as a toddler. I do well to remember what I did last week😀
  17. As I understand it dinner suit is what the British call a tuxedo. Last night there were several sightings and also half a dozen men in kilts.
  18. The price of the cruise will be the same with you work from home or on board. The deals will be the lower deposit amount, and some extra onboard credit as an incentive to book on board.
  19. You might consider bringing your own sheets and towels then😵‍💫
  20. Captains Club generally sends this on first chic night. I think Elite and above get them.
  21. There’s always a chance but you won’t know until you try. Some have been successful, others not.
