An acquaintance on Infinity just tested positive yesterday. Was not moved to a different stateroom and is just staying in their original room for the duration of the cruise.

You should know that in some places the town operates the tenders, not Celebrity.

In the US don’t count the gratuity, just look at the price you are correct that the program limits and pricing changes to be inclusive of gratuity

Just go to the terminal with the card. The app is too buggy and is not to be relied upon.

Tried to use the chat feature after reading on Cruise Critic that it now has notifications. Not on infinity it doesn’t. No “ping” so the recipient doesn’t know there’s a message unless they open the app and go looking for one, so I agree, the chat feature is pretty useless.

Lots of extra Captains Club points

At the moment they are not greeting you with trays laden with glasses of bubbly as you enter the ship, because they don’t want people congregating at the entrance. Instead, there are trays at various venues…I got my welcome glass at Cafe al Bacio.

I was reminded this evening how much nicer the public restrooms are on Celebrity. Well-lit, generally spacious, with cloth towels and live plants (usually orchids)

I would say that the one from on the ship is the one to go by.

In the fixed price meal you can order one or two or even three appetizers if you wish, plus a soup and a salad they don’t put limits on you but portions are large so don’t fill up on bread

It is not worth getting crazy just to take a cruise. Give it a year and see how things go

That advice will work on Infinity but remember that you can’t order off the MDR menu in Blu on e class ships

Your dining room assignment is blue. If you wish to eat in the main dining room, let the maître d’ at blue know so they can make arrangements for you since you do not have a table assignment in the main dining room. Please don’t just show up there. Some people do that and say “oh I had no trouble getting in the main dining room” and that may have been true when the ships sailed less than full, but as the weeks pass, it can create a problem so please just coordinate with the Blu staff. There is no trouble, however, going to breakfast or lunch in the main dining room if you choose— it’s just dinner that is congested.

you will be Elite. Call captains Club to enroll whichever you like depends on where you are in the world, where you are standing on the ship, how many others are on line at the same time as you, maybe the phase of the moon, who knows

Sometimes they throw in a little extra if you book within the first two days of the cruise. Could be a bottle of wine or a small gift.
