  1. Another one some ships change to local time, some don’t, so read the Daily Program carefully
  2. I’ll play Shoes are required in the OceanView Cafe Don’t leave room service trays in the passageways because it’s hard to move scooters and housekeeping buggies past them if you find a duck don’t take it to lost and found. Either keep it or hide it somewhere else
  3. Weather has been great except for some showers in St. Maarten. They keep the air conditioning on throughout the ship so you might want to bring a sweater.
  4. Tuscan — easy to fill up on bread and the charcuterie plate. Steaks there have all been good. Spumoni donuts are a great, if filling dessert lawn Club Grill — my favorite. Steaks, kebabs, and flatbreads are delicious. Don’t miss the warm cookie dessert
  5. I will guess that there are fewer than 20 children. Cruise Criticsuggest you start there
  6. Saw a rather drunk man last night who was letting everyone know by means of the t shirt he was wearing on which he had scribbled “Celebrity sucks” that he was having a miserable time. He had put out over $500 to buy a ticket home so he could disembark today from St. Maarten. Why? Because he was denied entry to the MDR because he was wearing shorts. he knew before he boarded what the policy was but he somehow thought that an exception would be made for him and when it wasn’t he got obnoxious. no sympathy here. He was willing to buy a t shirt on which to scribble his message but not to buy a pair of long pants. safe journey home, sir
  7. Celebrity has not gone to 100% “always included”. It is an option but not required. onboard credit can definitely be used for alcohol purchases.
  8. The awful music in Tuscan drove me out once again this morning. It is so frustrating that they just don’t care. I will try another complaint today but I don’t hold out much hope for improvement. The music next door in Blu that I hear when I walk past is fine. So why make such awful choices for Tuscan?
  9. Cafe al Bacio is where you will find the best coffee drinks. It’s opening hours vary so check your daily program.
  10. The Captains Club concierge and the other concierges (it’s a team now) handle all that and do it well. They will arrange for priority disembarkation too
  11. The Tui ship Mein Schiff 2, former Mercury was docked next to us today and as we left the pier darkness had already fallen. Dozens of their passengers were on the verandahs and on deck waving their cell phones. I assume our passengers were doing the same.
  12. Two beefs… it’s chilly in cellar masters and Cafe al Bacio the music playing in Tuscan Grille at breakfast is awful. I would linger over a second cup of coffee but it is so harsh and unpleasant I can’t stand it
  13. You never know where people might hide a duck. Never in a shop, though.
  14. I can’t help because I don’t do tours in the Caribbean. If I get off I just walk around the town a bit for exercise.
  15. as far as I can remember Celebrity has never had shrimp cocktail on any steakhouse menu
  16. Yes but only a few which is surprising because there are at least six different people hiding them.
  17. The cruise is going great. I am very much enjoying all the live music on board. Be sure to watch for casino happy hours. Sometimes they specify that they are giving out five dollars per person and sometimes they just call it a happy hour, but then they are putting out five dollars credit on your card. It’s not clear in the daily so ask every day
  18. Site maintenance and updates are probably taking place. Wait 24 hours and try again
  19. If the booking is canceled, the points are forfeited according to the T&C given in the email
  20. I guess I wasn’t clear, we need to know the day by day itinerary, which days are sea days and which days Are port days in order to venture a guess when the chic nights will be.
  21. It would be easier to guess if you provide the itinerary
