  1. you do not maintain the anytime dining bookings you may have made pre cruise. Blu is all open seating. No reservations are needed or taken unless you have an an usual situation like a group that all wants adjacent tables. If you book Aqua, you may see on the app a place where you can make nightly dinner reservations. This is an artefact of a previous booking system and is not relevant to Blu. Even if you fill all of them out and you think you have made nightly reservation requests, you will find when you go to Blu that you have not. Now on a night or two, that you might want to go eat in the MDR, simply tell the blue maître d’ and they will fix it for you. Remember that you don’t have a dining assignment in the MDR, Neither in the select dining nor in an assigned table in fixed seating. They will find you a table if you ask for one. It might be in select, or it might be in the part of the dining room given over to fix dining. It will depend on how the crowds are going where it might be easier to seat you. They try to keep things balanced out so that those who have signed up for select dining don’t have too long a wait. Adding extra people in from Blu might not be feasible on a given night so they would have you sit in the fixed dining area that night. it’s all a balancing act and keep in mind that they can’t move people from the MDR to Blu to take your spot there.
  2. Sounds like Lufthansa had a schedule change. can you look to see if your original flights and routing even exist anymore?
  3. When ships sail far below capacity, adjustments are easy As the ships begin to get more full it will again become necessary to coordinate with the Blu staff to get you an MDR table, since the MDR numbers will grow. Aqua passengers do not have MDR table assignments, so staff will need to determine when and where to place AQUA passengers and how to reassign their gratuities.
  4. I have been to an invitation-only lunch in Blu which was not open to Aqua passengers. They were simply utilizing the room since it was available. to get back to the OP’s question. If you wish to breakfast at the MDR, or lunch there on the sea days when it is open, there is no problem doing so and it is all open seating for those meals. If as an Aqua passenger you wish to have dinner in the MDR instead of in able coordinate that with the Aqua MaitreD who will make the arrangements for you since you do not have a table assignment there.
  5. It is not a single cruise. There are a series of cruises adding together.
  6. An advantage of the current system is that you don’t have to get dressed up to get the 5-7 pm drinks….stay in your shorts or pool coverup and have options
  7. No self serve fountain or soda machine on Celebrity. Pick up cans at any bar and take them with you.
  8. Right…don’t hold your bottle under the dispenser spigot….fill a clean glass and transfer to your bottle
  9. Not a danger, just not a comfortable or interesting place to spend time
  10. So after you all get checked in, best to go together at the latest assigned time.
  11. You get it when you pay after the meal. If you prepay online before the cruise it’s trickier so I always wait and pay for the meal at the end, in person, so the server can apply the discount.
  12. On an e class ship the kitchens are quite far apart
  13. Occasionally you will see a no-fee-just-for-fun-no-prize bingo but it’s been a while since I have seen the old fashioned bingo. Mostly it’s been replaced with Deallor No Deal
  14. RC doesn’t do happy hour events so I’m not sure what’s you mean. Instead they load a certain number of drinks on your card, which you can use all day long, rather than limiting you to a certain time period.
  15. My cornflakes have always been just fine😀
  16. The happy hour as an event is no more. Instead you can get those drinks at several bars around the ship. While some miss the event others like being able to stay in their shorts and swimwear instead while they enjoy their cocktails.
  17. This jibes with what the ilounge staff were telling people on board. they could assist AT&T customers setting up wifi calling but said that Verizon needed to be enabled on land first.
  18. Have there been any reports from Princess of similar shortages? Or other lines? Or is this specific to Celebrity?
  19. I’m trying to figure out how the OP could apply for any sort of refund. How would you document the number of times you attempted to order a premium wine but a lesser one was substituted? How would they know that you didn’t, on that occasion, just order the lesser wine? Did you use the premium package for smoothies or sparkling waters or Vitamin Water or coffees with alcohol? What percent of the daily cost was wine, how much was liquor or other drinks? How much refund do you think you should get?
