  1. For drinks, the price of the beverage is adjusted when sailing out of Southampton so that the gratuity is in the total price and not an add-on
  2. This just arrived for an upcoming cruise—-this is what I meant by a receipt with $0.00 due
  3. Generally, the rule is enforced. I have frequently seen men turned away. Some sneak in, to be sure, but the best majority are politely asked to go back to their room to change. They are more lenient on the first night, considering that some people might not have luggage, but after that, your husband should plan on wearing long trousers
  4. You might be overthinking this. There are always things on a cruise ship which cost extra, no matter what kind of an “ all inclusive package” You may have booked. There are specialty restaurants, there are full bottles of wine, there are tastings of all kinds, there are spa services, and the list goes on. Enjoy the things within your package and pass the others by.
  5. Well prior to the cruise receipt are sent for the WiFi and the drinks package. Both with a zero cost. So they mimic a purchase even though they are benefits. Maybe it has to do with how that is calculated and applied for in Celebrity’s bookkeeping system.
  6. They weren’t last week on solstice.
  7. Typical poorly worded statement. Zenith have a complementary premium package.
  8. Just looking at the state room themselves, they will be identical. Because all concierge class staterooms on the edge class have the infinite variant. concierge class booking will come with a few special benefits…..dining room lunch on embarkation day, upgraded toiletries, extra loyalty points, etc but the staterooms themselves will be identical, as opposed to on the M class ships were the concierge staterooms are 10% larger than the regular verandahs
  9. no, there are plenty of cocktails and plenty of wines that are under the limit. You are looking at the signature, cocktails, and special wines.
  10. I very much doubt that a “few thousand” pinnacles have suddenly all booked Celebrity and are showing up on board. People already had their plans made. They may show up on some future bookings, but they’re not immediately on board Celebrity just because that announcement was made recently.
  11. On Celebrity this is called luggage valet. It is generally available out of Fort Lauderdale depending on what time your flight is and where you’re home airport is and what airline you are flying on.
  12. Yes, the casino would serve a drink while you are actively gambling. Welcome glasses of bubbly were available at Café Al Bacio on solstice last week
  13. As this is a scheduled dry dock, I don’t believe any cruises were canceled.
  14. New deployments come out toward the end of the year. Check back in November and December.
  15. I don’t believe that there is any drink that you can order at a bar if you don’t have a beverage package, Unless you are willing to pay for the drink, one at a time. Complementary drinks in the buffet include coffee, tea, hot chocolate packet, lemonade, juice drinks, and iced tea. At breakfast, you can probably also get oat milk and soy milk and maybe they have those at lunch too—I have not looked. Also, at breakfast, you might be able to get tomato juice and cranberry juice. these will not be in dispensers, and you may have to ask for them. The aqua spa Café will have some of these drinks as well during breakfast and lunch. And the MAST grill, poolside, will have SOME as well.
  16. Last time I was on silhouette there was a huge group that actually was too big for Sky lounge. No one else was allowed to be in there during their private events
  17. Gratuity package = gratuities you can prepay them if you wish
  18. No but it is frequently used for private parties.
  19. Smoothies will not be included, but the rest of your non-alcoholic choices all will be. There will be no further gratuities charged on any of those drinks. there is no limit per day on drinks To be clear, your gratuity package covers your waiters and assistant waiter and your stateroom attendant. It does not apply to any food or drink. The beverage package applies to your drinks and has their gratuities built into it.
  20. You have the choice how to redeem the points. You can redeem them as on board credit. Or you can redeem them as a credit toward the balance on your credit card account. You do not have to have made final payment in order to choose the second option. You just have to have a booking number.
  21. Not quite accurate. I request once a day service, in the evening, and the steward does not enter my room in the morning.
