  1. You are doubtless looking at some old information. Priority boarding was advertised as a perk of concierge class. Also a perk of aqua class. And also a perk of Captains Club Elite. All those have been done away with. The only priority boarding left is for suites and zeniths. Now it goes by the arrival time that you designated on your app or on the website when you check in.
  2. That all depends on if you have OBC to offset any on board charges.
  3. You can tell the staff at check-in that you are setting up a cash account, and then, when you get on the ship, go to guest relations and give them your credit card. A number of years ago, some credit cards were compromised by a rogue staff member in Fort Lauderdale. At that point I began waiting until I got on the ship to present my credit card.
  4. Not on Celebrity. Take it to your stateroom, pick up your key, leave tge cases and come back later.
  5. Some ports do have a separate lounge for EMBARKING passengers, specifically those booked in suites. Most passengers will never have seen it. But for captains Club Elite level? No. however, as has been explained there is a departure lounge for Elite and above passengers on DISEMBARKATION day. the instruction sheet given out toward the end of the cruise will tell you where it is. On S class ships, typically Tuscan Grill is used. It’s also listed on the Captains Club paperwork you get in your stateroom
  6. If you wait until 9;30 p.m. security will definitely be involved !!!!!
  7. No it is not the taxes, it’s the way the gratuity is charged. Post #2 is exactly correct.
  8. If it is a less expensive room, they probably will not let you move to it, and even if they do, there will be no refund of the cost difference
  9. No. Look for them starting in November
  10. It isn’t in Fort Lauderdale— it’s on the ship!
  11. The new deployment rolls out in stages, usually starting in November each year and stretching into December or even January.
  12. The location of the Captains Club event varies Depending on how many eligible members there are on board. Consult the instruction sheet you will be given in your stateroom or stop by the Captains Club desk to ask.
  13. Not everyone does that. Only an ungrateful few who do not mind stiffing the crew members who worked so hard for them to have a good cruise.
  14. It’s probably easier to just show up at the one of the main dining rooms on e class ship than on other ships but in general the protocol is to consult with the maître d’ in Luminae and have him or her coordinate this for you. They can figure out where they can make a space for you. Since you don’t have an assigned MDR dining table, they have to fit you in.
  15. You think it had to do with Noises on Beyond?
  16. As the review you read stated, it does happen. I don’t think anyone can tell you any sort of statistic about how often, however. If the assurance that you can always open the window is important to you, perhaps the infinite veranda is not the best choice of stateroom for you.
  17. On most ships, the shows are at seven and nine with a possible late night show at 10:30. It does vary sometimes however I have personally never seen shows that start at 6:30.
  18. I think if you will listen to the video, you will hear that it is more than creaking and groaning.
