    What? There most certainly are characters, fireworks, and parades at WDW and there are characters and fireworks on the cruises.

    You are fine. They are saying it CAN be laminated. Not that it must be. Basically, they are saying, “it’s okay if you laminated yours.”

    With a six-year old, I think it’s worth it. Is that on the Wish? We are doing a 4-night on the Wish later this year.

    Agreed. Anyone with a fever should quarantine until they feel better. I don’t really care which respiratory illness they have. Use the same rules as a K-12 school. If you’d be home from work or school, you shouldn’t be in the Windjammer. We shouldn’t be angry at people who are coughing, however. There are plenty of reasons to have a cough that are not communicable.

    Viking removing the test requirement but keeping the vaccine requirement for ocean and river cruises outside the US and Canada likely gives a hint of what other cruise lines will do with Med sailings soon. And CLIA asking the CDC to reconsider testing suggests major cruise lines are not interested in testing unless required.

    Thank god! This is a huge relief. No one wants to be stuck in Europe! This had been a huge concern for me.

    I’ve read stories of Med sailings opening at 12 am Central European Time.

    Has nothing to do with COVID—I just don’t want strangers to have to eat with my bratty kids!

    You can tip extra but if you prepay through the cruise planner, you pay tips.
