  1. When we had a late night in Victoria on Ovation they had "open seating" in the main dining room.  The waiter explained it was due to many passengers eating in port and it was more convenient to do that than the My time or traditional times.  Liberty of the Seas sill stay overnight in Bermuda will they do the "open seating" instead of early/late seating or Mytime?

  2. We'll be on a 5 night Bermuda cruise how do they decide which menus to use? How far in advance will I know which menus are on which night?  I would like to know in advance so I can pre book and pay for a specialty restaurant before we sail.  Not even a garden salad listed on any of those days??  Why don't they just open an Indian restaurant if it's so popular. The new menus do not appeal to me at all not happy.

No Spaghetti Bolognese on Italian night that is weird.

When you described Disney Springs with stores, etc., it reminded of an earlier name something like Lake Buena Vista.  We usually stayed at the Dutch Inn and remember that there was a replica of wooden tall sail ship that was a restaurant.

It also had a back road (before all the constructions) that led us to the Disney Hotels and avoided the transportation center both going and coming.

    I guess I'm dating myself.

Several years ago Disney Springs was called "Downtown Disney".

    I got 1

Had pineapple cake for dessert. Very tasty

When we were on Navigator in Feb we got lamb chops in the main dining room, on Ovation in August it was lamb cutlets or something drenched in some gravy not as good very disappointed. Were you in the MDR what is a F&B manager that Laura got the chops from?

Will I have to go to Chops to get lamb chops on Liberty next spring,?

Big line for the start of Bingo. Someday I’ll play.

Who all plays Bingo? Let me know.

We played bingo on our 2012 Adventure of the Seas cruise. I won a free cruise I had to track down the bingo host for 4 days to get the certificate. Finally got it on the last day it was worth about $2000. I upgraded to a JS and took the cruise on Allure the next year. Haven't won at bingo since.

  6. Love your review we will be sailing on Liberty next May.

Can you verify if Starlink is up & running I saw this posted a couple of days ago:

Based on reader reports, Starlink appears to be working on Liberty of the Seas and Enchantment of the Seas.

Photos of the Starlink receivers onboard, and verified that the ship is now offering the internet service as of a few days ago.

i suggest booking a private one unless you have OBC to burn. The cruise line books the same minibuses and upcharges you.

That's what I usually do but when I saw we were there on a Saturday I started to get paranoid after our Sitka experience.

    Thanks

Charles gave some good advice above but to confirm, there are no traditional rental cars allowed at all on Bermuda-- either through usual rental companies or Turo. Just motor scooters or a couple types of two seater electric vehicles.

I'm hoping we will be able to book a minibus tour on Saturday, either a private one of one with the cruise line.  I don't think we would ever rent a car in a foreign country we only did Turo in Sitka, Alaska because they dropped the car right at the pier.

  9. I hope they have some mini bus tours either on Saturday or Sunday with either RCL or private tour companies.  We were in Sitka, Alaska on a Sunday in August all the tours were sold out and no taxi's or busses running.  We ended up renting a car with Turo, it actually worked out great I doubt Bermuda has anything like that especially with driving on the other side of the road.

    Stupid question time.

Our 25th wedding anniversary will happen aboard Liberty of the Seas next week. When we were on Symphony she fell in love with Stella McCartney Black Mini Tote Bag. I should have bought it for her then.

Anyone know if Liberty of the Seas has any of those women’s handbags?

Try Amazon. Will you be doing a "live" while on Libertry?
