Just to clarify, once you have chosen arrival time on the app, it doesn’t make any difference whether you use the app or website to enter travel information. You can only bypass everything else & jump right to arrival time on the app.

But that can only be done on the app.

Yes, my husband will be one of them. A poster asked to show where Royal says no shorts in the dining room. I provided that.

Yup, don’t pay attention to it. Hubby wears nice shorts & a button down or polo shirt every night because that’s what he wants to wear. But it is stated in the MDR verbiage.

Open the app, click on check in, click on arrival time under each person you want to check in, select time. Close app, go to bed. Travel information can then be entered at your convenience. You can use the app or the website as you choose. It makes no difference. Once travel information has been entered, you can access your set sail pass. I save them in my Apple Wallet and print a copy of each.

Try not to be offensive or dirty (or both!)

And the majority of cruisers do not post on CC. This is a very small sample and not everyone is reporting this issue. There are some who have gotten their meals as requested. I choose not to get wound up about it until and unless it actually affects my dining experience on my next cruise in May.

I think we all need to take a few chill pills. Like any new policy, there is a break in period. And policies in general on Royal vary from ship to ship, head waiter to head waiter, server to server. I have always found if you are friendly and polite, you can usually get what you want. Ya know honey instead of vinegar.

So it’s a pina colada made with coconut rum. Shouldn’t be a problem, very common ingredients.

Link her reservation to yours. There’s an add a cruise button (or some such verbiage) on both the app and the website. When you go to your check in, hers will be there too. I linked 7 people across 3 reservations and checked everyone in in matter of minutes.

I pack everything in dry cleaning bags. I don’t know how but they really keep stuff relatively wrinkle free. I then use the bags to line drawers and shelves before I put our clothes away. I also like that, if/when TSA opens a bag, they don’t actually touch our stuff.

Yes they are so wear what you want. Only other passengers engage in dress code shaming. The crew could care less.

Young children in seat belts are not safe. Adult restraints don’t work on little bodies.

So now we have a choice between under cooked and over cooked. Does medium well have any pink at all?

On Explorer in October, we told our server we would not be eating in the MDR on formal night because we decided we were doing nothing but shorts & flip flops this cruise. He looked at us like we were crazy. “And why would that be unacceptable for dinner? We certainly don’t care”

Anyone can slap a white tablecloth on a table. I do not consider the MDR fine dining in any sense of the term.

It may also show up when you log into your account on the website.

Except if you look at the menus, baked, mashed & fries are there with some entree almost every night. My interpretation of “no substitutes” means nothing that isn’t anywhere on the menu.

Car seats are cumbersome and awkward to cart around, especially when you are also managing multiple pieces of luggage. That having been said, if you have children they are a necessity.

I am in the minority in that I am unimpressed by the production shows and really don’t care if I see them. I do like the comedy show & there is typically a late one I can attend. So dinner rarely interferes with my plans. Again I realize I am in the minority here.
