We found the malecon to be a hoot. Yup people trying to sell you stuff but everyone was friendly, only pushy to a point. We walked the length and back and had a great time interacting with the locals. Pretty sure we stopped at Krazy Lobster too but there were lots of places with great smelling food!

The letter with the FCC said 90%. I’ve looked at it 20 ways to Sunday and can’t figure out what the $1173 represents 90% of.

Yeah the tails in MDR on Harmony in March were also “not very good”

We had insurance through Royal and my brother & nephew were unable to reach the port due to severe storms up & down east coast. No flights at any airport within a 3 hour drive for 2 solid days. This was NOT covered by Royal insurance. They have issued an FCC for $600 less than the actual cruise fare. He and our agent are currently arguing to get the full amount or at least the 90% they promised (fare was $1770 - 90% should be $1593). Going forward we will be getting insurance that will cover this contingency.

Have read more than one review of Explorer with this same issue, poorly stocked even more poorly staffed. We are on an ABC itinerary in late October. Hope to get more positive feedback by then. And as to this topic, $70 with gratuities included is my top end. We paid $71.99 on a Harmony 7 day and, although my son picked up the slack, I struggled more than I though I would. Found I no longer like the fruity frozen drinks poolside. Our next cruise is showing $73 pre tip so it’s a hard pass for us. We’ll pay OOP & be Diamond after that.

OMG our account showed 156 drinks for a week….. for FOUR of us!

We scheduled MTD for 6:30-6:45 every day of our March Harmony cruise. Never waited more than 5-10 minutes to be seated at the same table/same waitstaff every night. Had no problems with MTD at all 🤷‍♀️

Not sure how you could. Sandy’s transformation is pretty clear & Rizzo gets her period & the whole gang is happy! Don’t see any cautionary tales there.

Why would you pay for a package and waste $52 worth of drinks on top of that? You pay $70+ per day for the package then give back the value of your Diamond vouchers so you spend $122+ per day for drinks?!?!

Yeah, no! We’ve been married for almost 42 years. I handle the finances, all the finances. Hubby wouldn’t know how to write a check if his life depended on it nor where the darn checkbook was (my purse & yes I still write 3-4 a month). He’s worked hard & I’ve made sure we saved it well. He says I can squeeze a dime into a quarter better than anyone he knows. 😉

On line check in, each passenger’s information (passport etc) is entered separately. You can enter a different card for any or all passengers there.
