  1. My experience on the M class ships has been to make reservations on the last day of the first sailing for both the MDR and the specialty restaurants. I was also able to make advance spa appointments that way.
  2. Wifi - You will have Verizon coverage when in all Alaskan ports. (For Canada, you would need to use Verizon's foreign country coverage.) However, you will not have access when sailing, including Hubbatd Glacier Sailing day. If that's sufficient, you don't need to buy it on the ship.
  3. Exactly that! You want your order history - it shows everything: Current Bookings, Cancelled Bookings, even drink and wifi packages purchased through AI. It doesn't say HOW you paid it, but if you find the transaction, you'll at least know the amount.
  4. I am complete sympathetic to the OP. My sister suffered what sounds like the same injury about two months ago. The recovery plan is identical and she is, hopefully, tomorrow, going to begin the process of putting weight on her ankle after two long months of frustrating bed rest, having to rely on her family for simple things, and not being able to leave her home without assistance. Put simply, I get the frustration and yes, anger, involved. Having said that, this is the same sister I am able to treat to a cruise periodically. For me it's sister time, so it's totally worth it. I pay - she gets the points - because they are for nights sailed, not dollars spent. Fair or not, that's just the way the programs work. My hope is for the OP is for a speedy and complete recovery and being made financially whole so so she can experience that amazing cruise in the future.

  6. I'm on Ascent now and hope you love it! If you visit the coffee bar (El Bacio on Deck 4), looked for Arsana or Novy. They will take great care of you. Tell the "Mrs Janet" says hello 😊.

  8. Suthan said to say hello! He was very surprised that I was aware that he was in Anytime (he's now in fixed seating) and that I was aware of his promotion 😉. As you say, he's very impressive and I wanted him to be aware he's getting great feedback!
  9. I was on the 1/8 cruise and am still on the ship. Suthan is my waiter this time, so wanted to give him another shout out! I had Eduardo & Allan last cruise and still see them frequently during the day, but am always relieved on a B2B when the second evening dining team is as good as the first!!
  10. I'm on Equinox and both are $19 for this sailing, ending tomorrow, and the next. I would be thrilled if the Decoy went back to Premium pricing without the add on!!
  11. You might want to watch for a special lunch at Tuscan featuring Dungeness Crab. I've always done M class ships in Alaska, but if Edge does it it's a wonderful experience!
  12. I'm onboard and spoke to Future Cruise about this. She suggested booking a cabin mate as a work around - so even Celebrity's employees are encouraging us to work around the new policy. If it's revenue Celebrity is worried about, they can either have the double occupancy rate or nothing. Their choice. I'm certainly not inclined to spend more on board given the new policy!
  13. I just spoke with a Future/Next Cruise rep about booking Australia & New Zealand for 25/26! Excited to see anything you have to share and hoping, along with Tree_Skier, that you make this a live. Sailing into Sydney Harbor has been a bucket list dream for a long time!
  14. Finally caught up! Happy New Year to the UWC cruisers! Loving following along and appreciate the drama-free version so I can avoid the you-tubers and tik-tockers that have never actually been on a ship!!
  15. I was on Summit for 10 nights after Thanksgiving and the Video Poker machines were either turned off or out of service the entire time. I never figured out what they were doing, but am hopeful that they were upgrading them rather than getting rid of them.
