Good morning. Thanks for the FR/Daily @kazu and @richwmn and maps @rafinmd. It's the Ides of March. 3 unusual days. Good quote. I'll pass on the sweet potatoes with marshmallows and the drink. Yes to the wine. I haven't been to Trondheim. 3 good days in history. It's been rainy and cloudy here, and 50F. I slept about 5 hours, but had napped for 3 hours in the afternoon yesterday. I finally feel like this head/chest cold is leaving. I have PT in early afternoon, then I'll just putter around the house sorting through stuff to donate or keep. I'm still waiting on the contractor finding a new radiator to replace the damaged one. @Lady Hudson Bon Voyage! @Crazy For Cats I'm glad you got your tickets straightened out. Last night I started hearing this beeping - it was the CO detector. It was flashing END meaning end of life and to replace with a new one. I'm glad it didn't go off in the middle of the night. @StLouisCruisers I'm glad DGD is feeling better at her new place. Good afternoon. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. Happy Pi Day! I will celebrate scientists and geniuses. I don't have any questions to ask today. Funny Joan Rivers quote. The meal sounds good, pass on the drink and maybe for the wine. I haven't been to Lerwick. 3 good days in history. It's 61 and sunny, going to 70, but thunderstorms are coming this afternoon. Last night going to sleep was tough, as I had a cough that wouldn't quit (and hurt my ribs) and sounded like I belonged in the TB ward. I had taken Mucinex-DM at bedtime. I finally fell asleep, but only got about 2.5 hours of sleep. I woke up with some leg pain. I am concerned it's coming back, but it's nowhere near what it was and doesn't last that long. I made an early grocery store run. They had pie on sale for Pi day, but only apple, so I passed. The lawn guys are here doing the first grass cutting of the year. I had an egg sized red and raised area at the site of my first shingles shot. When I read the brochure they gave me I saw that that can happen. I think I put ice on it and maybe took some ibuprofen and it gradually went away (but took a few days). With the 2nd shot I didn't have much of anything. @Denise T Good news that Fiona is feeling better. Good thoughts for Chase today with his surgery. @smitty34877 Interesting goings on on your street; I just hope they don't keep people up who would normally go to bed early. @dfish I wonder if we have something like that senior services here. The first 4 steps to my basement, that go to the landing, don't have a railing and it really needs one. It's going to be very nice here, sunny and 70's today. Yesterday I ended up not going with BFF and my UK friends. BFF came over, saw me croaking to talk and generally not feeling well, and said stay home. I started on a Z-pack and went to be earlier, so I hope to feel better today. I bought a couple of organizer shelves for my DR buffet, so will work on that. Maybe get out in the sun for a bit. I'm sure many heard about the house explosion near here; sadly a sweet couple (89 and 87) died. BFF will be picking me up to go collect our UK friends for dinner and watching the hockey game. Good morning. Thanks for the FR/Daily @kazu and @richwmn and maps @rafinmd. The city I live right outside of has 311 for non-emergency calls; my little borough of 3000 people doesn't. Myths should be debunked. And Covid is still with us, although hopefully less deadly to most of us. One good thing that came from it was my finding the Daily, which kept me company as I was all alone at home. Good quote. I might like the lamb stew. Pass on the drink and wine. My Hawaii cruise left from LA; I didn't see any of the city. The sun is out and it's going up to 50F. I will mostly be inside. I slept about 5 hours (some leg pain), but on waking up I started coughing so hard my ribs hurt. I had a cough drop in the nightstand, then took a Mucinex DM, and it has settled down. I'll do more organizing in the DR. The old decorative radiator can't be repaired as the metal is considered too thin. I said I'd accept a plainer one painted to match the others in the house. Then they still need to clean the walls. So the majority of the contents of the rooms are in boxes everywhere still. @dfish Happy Birthday to Sue! Thanks for the recipes. @StLouisCruisers An exciting day for Morgan. Plus she's lucky to have family around to help her out. @kazu I appreciate national Napping Day; I'll try to later. Good morning. Thanks for starting up the Fleet Report/Daily today @rafinmd. Time to change all the clocks. My smoke detectors are hard wired, so no batteries to check. Blessed Ramadan to those who celebrate. Good quote. The soup sounds interesting. Maybe on the banana daquiri (may be too sweet) and pass on the wine. I have not been to Alexandria. Sad that Ireland has remained divided. It's cold (33F), very windy, and some snow showers that won't amount to anything. I only got about 4 hours of sleep; I stayed up way too late. But when I lay down I get a lot of head congestion. I need to get some Sudafed, but don't feel like going out. Still coughing too. So, I'll stay in and continue to sort through DR drawers. Maybe watch some hockey on TV, although our team is horrible this year. @StLouisCruisers Thanks for your Alexandria photos. Good morning. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. I'll salute Vespucci and Genealogy. I used to wear fanny packs to amusement parks and sometimes touring; now use a small crossbody bag. Interesting quote. The meal sounds good, pass on the drink and the wine is a little pricey for everyday. I haven't been to La Possession. 3 good days in history. It's rainy and cooler today; snow tomorrow. I didn't do a lot yesterday. The dining room chairs got whisked off to be reglued and reupholstered. During the evening I napped about 2 hours, then slept another 5 hours overnight. I think my coughing and head congestion are starting to improve (with Mucinex DM). BFF is having our friends to his house to watch the away hockey game today, but I will pass again. I'll work on DR drawers again if I feel up to it. Still issues with formatting on the Cares List, when I use the iPad; I'll work on something like maybe copying to Dropbox then to CC. @Haljo1935 It's frustrating when you get sent from one doctor to another to get answers. Sadly the Neurologist I saw last June, who did EMG/NCS, didn't find anything, despite my developing all my symptoms 3 months later. @StLouisCruisers Sorry about the leak. Thanks for passing on Graham's sad news. @grapau27 Since condolences to Sarah, as well as you and Pauline. Even though there wasn't closeness, it's still a family loss. @kazu I'm glad you are getting a brief reprieve with the weather. Good morning. Thanks for the FR/Daily @kazu @richwmn and maps @rafinmd. No need to be nasty, I have no middle name, and I don't like peanut clusters. I will celebrate International Women's Day. Interesting quote. The soup sounds good. Pass on the drink and yes to the wine. I haven't been to the Great Barrier Reef. 4 good days in history. It's somewhat sunny and 58F, but snow is in the forecast! I'm congested with this head cold and a cough, but slept not too bad. Some leg pain and numbness, mainly on waking up. I haven't decided if I need an antibiotic or not. I cancelled my PT for this morning. I have the furniture guy coming this afternoon; I may have no DR chairs for Easter, so may eat out. I also want to continue organizing drawers in the built in cabinets on either side of the fireplace, if I feel up to it. BFF is taking our UK friends to hockey practice then out to eat; I may see them tomorrow, depending on how I feel. @Crazy For Cats It sounds like that cyberattack caused lots of headaches for many. @kazu Be careful if/when you go out. @StLouisCruisers I know Morgan will be so relieved once she moves. @smitty34877 Sorry to hear there was less sleep last night; I hope things improve. @Heartgrove Good news that Sam is hanging in there. @marshhawk Sorry to hear about the medication situation; it's hard, especially for newer meds. Can you use something like GoodRx, Amazon drug? I do that for one eye drop that is $100 copay, but only $28 with GoodRx. Or apply for assistance? My RA drug is about $5000/month, but I get it free from the manufacturer; surprisingly I didn't have to supply income info. @cat shepard I was happy to hear about your sister's improvement. @cunnorl Good luck with the Golf tournament, but I'm sorry you injured your hip and can't play. @RMLincoln Yay for DH's good report from the eye doctor! @quilty964 I'm glad DH is doing well.
