  1. Good morning. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. I'll salute Vespucci and Genealogy. I used to wear fanny packs to amusement parks and sometimes touring; now use a small crossbody bag. Interesting quote. The meal sounds good, pass on the drink and the wine is a little pricey for everyday. I haven't been to La Possession. 3 good days in history. It's rainy and cooler today; snow tomorrow. I didn't do a lot yesterday. The dining room chairs got whisked off to be reglued and reupholstered. During the evening I napped about 2 hours, then slept another 5 hours overnight. I think my coughing and head congestion are starting to improve (with Mucinex DM). BFF is having our friends to his house to watch the away hockey game today, but I will pass again. I'll work on DR drawers again if I feel up to it. Still issues with formatting on the Cares List, when I use the iPad; I'll work on something like maybe copying to Dropbox then to CC. @Haljo1935 It's frustrating when you get sent from one doctor to another to get answers. Sadly the Neurologist I saw last June, who did EMG/NCS, didn't find anything, despite my developing all my symptoms 3 months later. @StLouisCruisers Sorry about the leak. Thanks for passing on Graham's sad news. @grapau27 Since condolences to Sarah, as well as you and Pauline. Even though there wasn't closeness, it's still a family loss. @kazu I'm glad you are getting a brief reprieve with the weather. I too have found things as I declutter that I rebought. @marshhawk Fingers crossed for a sale for you. @cunnorl Congrats to your nephew on winning the golf tournament and to you on your putting. I'm glad the hip is feeling somewhat better. @Sir PMP @Mtn2Sea Thanks for the photos from Reunion Island. @smitty34877 Continued prayers for you and the family. @dfish The recipes look good. @RedneckBob 😉🕵️‍♀️ @cat shepard I'm glad you found what seems to be a great rehab place for your sister. Prayers for the Care List and Cheers for those Celebrating.

  3. Good morning. Thanks for the FR/Daily @kazu @richwmn and maps @rafinmd. No need to be nasty, I have no middle name, and I don't like peanut clusters. I will celebrate International Women's Day. Interesting quote. The soup sounds good. Pass on the drink and yes to the wine. I haven't been to the Great Barrier Reef. 4 good days in history. It's somewhat sunny and 58F, but snow is in the forecast! I'm congested with this head cold and a cough, but slept not too bad. Some leg pain and numbness, mainly on waking up. I haven't decided if I need an antibiotic or not. I cancelled my PT for this morning. I have the furniture guy coming this afternoon; I may have no DR chairs for Easter, so may eat out. I also want to continue organizing drawers in the built in cabinets on either side of the fireplace, if I feel up to it. BFF is taking our UK friends to hockey practice then out to eat; I may see them tomorrow, depending on how I feel. @Crazy For Cats It sounds like that cyberattack caused lots of headaches for many. @kazu Be careful if/when you go out. @StLouisCruisers I know Morgan will be so relieved once she moves. @smitty34877 Sorry to hear there was less sleep last night; I hope things improve. @Heartgrove Good news that Sam is hanging in there. @marshhawk Sorry to hear about the medication situation; it's hard, especially for newer meds. Can you use something like GoodRx, Amazon drug? I do that for one eye drop that is $100 copay, but only $28 with GoodRx. Or apply for assistance? My RA drug is about $5000/month, but I get it free from the manufacturer; surprisingly I didn't have to supply income info. @cat shepard I was happy to hear about your sister's improvement. @cunnorl Good luck with the Golf tournament, but I'm sorry you injured your hip and can't play. @RMLincoln Yay for DH's good report from the eye doctor! @quilty964 I'm glad DH is doing well. Prayers for the Care List and a Toast to those Celebrating.

  5. My next door neighbor said late tonight for the water To be back on. They were delayed earlier trying to find the owner of a vehicle that was in their way. On a good note, I got an hour nap in.
  6. Happy Anniversary @sailingdutchy Tony and Martha! I heard jackhammering outside, and now no water! Also I haven’t been able to nap, so just chillin’.
  7. Good afternoon. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. I'll salute all 3 days, especially Alexander Graham Bell. Interesting quote. I like the meal, maybe on the drink and yes to the wine. I haven't been to Luderitz. 2 good days in history. Well, I see the update to my iPad (17.4), broke the formatting for copying and pasting the Cares List. I did some editing, but wasn't up to fixing it all. Hopefully resolved soon, since I post the Cares List from bed, not my PC. It's cloudy here and 49F. Yesterday I felt increasingly less well with head congestion and a bit of a cough. I did a Covid test (negative then and again today). So I didn't go to pick up my friends at the airport last night with BFF. I haven't been sick since late 2019/early 2020 after my Panama Canal cruise, where I had a prolonged cold/cough (in retrospect I wondered about Covid). I took Nyquil and went to bed early, and got over 6 hours of sleep. Some pain on awakening, but gone quickly. I feel fair today, mostly head congestion, so I'll just rest and maybe nap later. I'll decide about cancelling PT tomorrow this afternoon. @RedneckBob Happy Birthday! I have my sources 🕵️‍♀️! @Seasick Sailor Sorry Allen is in so much pain. I hope he takes the muscle relaxer as that may help. @StLouisCruisers Prayers for your Great nephew's twins. And thanks for sharing the sweet photo of Elliott Rose. @kazu Definitely sounds like a stay inside day. @MISTER 67 Enjoy the new living quarters! @Mr. Boston Prayers for comfort for you friend Lauren with the aggressive cancer. @rafinmd Thanks for the maps. I like your meal too. I am a big chilled fruit soup fan. @marshhawk Your former Derm guy sounds like a gem. Too bad he moved away. @Sir PMP Thanks for the photos. @Mtn2Sea Wonderful photos. @RMLincoln Prayers that all goes well for DH at the eye doctor visit. @ger_77 Good news that Wayne is now home and feeling better. I'm glad you got the meclizine from Pat @57redbird. @Quartzsite Cruiser Nice Lüderitz/Kolmanskop photos. Prayers for the Care List and Cheers for those Celebrating.

  9. @StLouisCruisers Sandi, I dug out the cross stitch project I started all those years ago. It's Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany, which I've visited twice, and is a favorite of BFF. First is the picture from the directions, then what I've done so far. There is a lot of outline work, which isn't my favorite thing.
  10. Good morning. Thanks for the FR/Daily. Remember the Alamo. Every day should be a day of memorial and respect for Veterans. My name is British and means butterfly. Interesting quote. I like the meal and drink. I have a hurricane glass from Pat O'Brien's in NOLA. Pass on the wine. I have been to Hilo. 3 important days in history. It's been raining here since last evening, but still in the 50's. Sleep was only about 4 hours. I had some discomfort and leg tingling on awakening. I'd say it's about 75% better since the injections. I see the Neurosurgeon again in about 2 weeks. I'm doing more paper sorting (old medical records) this AM, and will have lots to shred soon. BFF is coming over later to help with some house stuff, and later we'll go to the airport to pick up our UK friends. I haven't heard from the contractor lately and am still holding off on moving stuff back into the rooms. Instead I'm organizing drawers in the furniture and built-ins. I have some stuffiness and drainage, probably allergies, but I'll do a test before meeting my friends. @Nickelpenny Great rainbow shot. I was shaking my head at your missing the bugs. @rafinmd Thanks for today's maps. @Heartgrove Good to hear that Sam has rallied, so you have more time with him. @dfish I hope the thumb feels better soon. Thanks for the recipes. @ottahand7 I'm glad your arm is doing well. @cat shepard I hope they can improve DSis's O2 and heart rhythm with meds. Hopefully she will continue to gain strength. @marshhawk Good for you on getting more sleep. I hope Chuck is feeling ok today. Good luck with the dermatologist. @smitty34877 Even with some medical background, it can be difficult to know if you've done the best things. Be gentle with yourself. @Haljo1935 @GTVCRUISER Nice photos. @Seasick Sailor Prayers that Allen's kidney issues improve or stabilize. @kazu I hope you can get some relief from your pain (and I agree about the x-ray tables, even though I have lots of padding!). Cute photos of Ivan. Ugh on your weather forecast. @Quartzsite Cruiser Thanks for the lovely photos. Prayers for the Care List and Cheers for those Celebrating. 12. Good afternoon. Thanks for the FR/Daily @kazu, @richwmn and maps @rafinmd. Dissociative Identity Disorder is hopefully diagnosed and treated appropriately. I won't celebrate Absinthe. I haven't had a cheese doodle in years and years, but like them. True quote. The meal sounds good, pass on the drink and yes to the wine. I haven't been to Iraklion. 2 good days in history. It's another lovely day here, already 68F and sunny. We made 74 yesterday. Then cool again. I did laundry yesterday, which wore me out going up and down the stairs. So I did some sorting of papers in the evening, after a bit more work on the china cabinet. I also scheduled the furniture repair person for Friday to look at my DR chairs and to pick new seat fabric. I was up too late, but slept fairly ok. I will be going to PT in a couple of hours. I think this warmer weather has brought the pollen early; I feel like my grass/tree allergies are starting up. Also the local news is warning about ticks being out early; we have a very high incidence of Lyme disease here. @Quartzsite Cruiser Happy Birthday to Steve! And thanks for the memes and photos. @marshhawk Prayers that all goes well with Chuck's procedure. Yikes on the woman you lived next door to. @summer slope Thank you for our daily drink recipes. @StLouisCruisers Wonderful photos from Iraklion. @grapau27 Thinking of you (and Pauline) on your Dad's memory day. @dfish Thanks for the recipes. Before I had the injections, PT wasn't doing much as I couldn't do much because of pain. Now I'm trying to rebuild strength, but have to temper my enthusiasm so I don't overdo it. Yikes on that snaking incident! Glad you're ok. @Nickelpenny I'd have a hard time on that cruise with all the bugs! Ewww. @Heartgrove I am so sorry to hear about Sam. With all that pain you did what was best for him, but it still rips your heart out to do it. @MISTER 67 I'm glad you had a nice cruise before coming back to the hard work of moving. @ger_77 I hope Wayne is able to get home safely soon. I too had trouble accessing my FB account. I'm normally signed in all the time, but I had to log in and it didn't want to accept the right PW. I kept at it, afraid it would lock me out, and finally I got in. @rafinmd I was glad to hear that the Oncologist was pleased with your PSA level. @cat shepard Your DSis is fortunate to have you to advocate for her while she is hospitalized. Prayers for continued recovery for her. @ottahand7 Great news about the pain improving! @smitty34877 I worry about having an advocate, as other than BFF, I don't have anyone. We are each other's decision makers and advocates. @RedneckBob I was wondering where you were. Prayers for the Care List and Cheers for those Celebrating.

  14. Good morning. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. Brain injury awareness is important. I worry about the future of some athletes who suffer repeated head trauma. I'll salute Casimir Pulaski, who I hadn't heard of before. We can try to be courageous followers. Jane Austen was being flippant with that quote. Yes to air fryer sweet potato fries. Pass on the drink and wine. I haven't been to Alicante. 3 important days in history. It's 64F and sunny, going up to 74, tying a record high. I slept fairly well, and have some off and on leg numbness. I got my tax info uploaded to my accountant, and called them this morning to let them know. Today's plan is laundry (I'll see how going up and down steep steps goes), then working more on putting the china closet together. I have tons of crystal glassware that I never use. I'd sell it to Replacements, but the cost of shipping would take most of what they pay. I am sending a photo of my DR chairs to get an estimate on recovering the seats and tightening up the frames. Also an estimate for an old Duncan Phyfe drop leaf table that I'd like to get refinished. @cruising sister The photo of Baby Murphy going home was so precious! It made me happy. @grapau27 Thank you for the information on Pulaski; I hadn't heard of him before. Nice photos from Alicante. @St Pete Cruiser Thanks for the photos. @kazu Lovely photos of Alicante. @Nickelpenny It sounds like you're having a great time. @StLouisCruisers Delightful photos of Alicante and you and Dennis. @rafinmd Thank you for the maps. I hope you get a good report from the Oncologist. @Haljo1935 Nice photos. @cat shepard Continued prayers for your DSis. @ger_77 Oh my, that's a lot of snow! @ottahand7 Prayers all goes easy with the skin surgery. And congrats on the new truck! @VMax1700 I've visited the Bodensee while in Germany. @marshhawk February was certainly a tough month for you and your DH. I hope some sales are imminent. @Quartzsite Cruiser Thanks for sharing your great photos. Prayers for the Care List and Cheers for those Celebrating.
