Good morning Dailyites (it was AM when I started!). Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. I like my name, so I'll keep it. I'll salute Churchill and those who were POW's, for what they endured. Funny quote; we have restaurants here called Eat'n Park, and people always say, shouldn't it be Park 'n Eat? The meal sounds tasty; shrimp is about the only seafood I'll eat; no special meal today for just me. I'll pass on the drink and wine. I haven't been to this Puntarenas; we were supposed to stop on my Panama Canal transit in 2019, but they cancelled the port before the sailing and added Acapulco. We had planned to do the Rain Forest tram. I dislike being rudely awakened! When I lose my landline phone, the house alarm system chirps to let me know there's trouble. That will be a thing of the past, as my friend who is an alarm installer (and did this system 25+ years ago) is coming tomorrow. Changes will have the system communicate by cellular signal, and I'll also be able to do stuff from my mobile phone. I'd told him with my vision issues that I have trouble seeing the keypads, even with my glasses. So, I was just about to put the fridge on the battery generator, when power was restored after about 2-1/2 hours. Apparently a car accident on the main drag around here (nearby to me) took down a power line. The knee still feels stiff, although maybe a touch less painful to bend. Growing up, it was traditional to go to the boardwalk and walk along in one's easter finery after church! Good afternoon on this Holy Saturday. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. I'll salute all is ours day. I can't draw very well, although I haven't really tried. I like zoos now that animals are more free. Maybe on the meal (with half zoodles), and no to the drink and the wine sounds good. I haven't been to Puerto Plata. It's going to be a nice day today, with some sun and temps up to the mid-50's later, after a chilly 29 this AM. I have a lot I need to do regarding packing and general "redding up" (a local idiom I never heard of before moving to Western PA) of the house. Sadly, my knee that was injected yesterday is hurting quite a bit; I guess the novocaine has worn off and the steroids aren't working yet. So I'm limping around 😞. BFF and I decided not to have me fix an Easter dinner, as the standing to cook wouldn't be easy for me. @StLouisCruisers Happy Birthday to you and your twin sister! I like both pictures of you two! Thanks for the recommendation, Sharon. Problem is, I've worn tennis shoes for so long, I'm not sure what size I need. I have some nice black flats already, but when I tried them on before my cancelled November cruise, they were tight and uncomfortable. I'll try them on again, but I think I need to do some in-person fitting at a store.

Good afternoon. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. Good Friday observance today. Caramel popcorn is ok (I prefer just butter or chocolate drizzle) and I like some beers. Beavers are cute. I heard on the radio it's also National No Housework Day! Interesting quote. I'll pass on the meal (fish), drink (I've never had a Manhattan), and the wine. Roy's meal looks good to me. I haven't been to Saint John, NB. It's cloudy and 40's, with a high of about 54. I have been to the Ortho doc and had my right knee injected. I'm glad my appointment was this morning, as today is the Home Opener for the MLB Pirates team, and that part of town will be a zoo later. I had also planned to go look for a pair of black flats for dressier evenings, but didn't have the energy; maybe Monday. Good morning. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. Poppies are pretty, I like tartan plaid (does that count?), and I need to get back to walking. I hope to do much more walking on vacation, but I worry about my ability with the knee and hip issues. Good quote. The meal looks interesting. No on the drink and no to the wine ($$$). I've never been to Grand Cayman; it was on the cruise we cancelled due to BFF's DF's illness. It's cloudy, 53F, with light rain. Temps are supposed to drop during the day. We escaped the brunt of the storms last night; mainly wind and rain, although some lost power. I am going to need to mow the grass soon, with all this rain and warm temps. When I was going to the pharmacy yesterday, I noticed a piece of flashing on my detached garage was flapping in the wind. I don't know who to call to fix it, that will come on short notice. And I was aggravated that I couldn't get my prescription, as their computers were down nationwide. @StLouisCruisers Thank you for our start today. Ren is really excelling with his team and I'm sure impressing them; congrats to the team on their wins. Excellent Georgetown photos.
