Hi. We were on this cruise. Yes, the Diamond Lounge was open to us lowly Diamonds at all times. There was a letter in our stateroom stating this. I expect it might change from sailing to sailing depending on the passenger makeup. Very nice lounge, though. Only popped in once (around 5pm) and it was pretty full.

FYI, just off the Harmony, and this was my concern pre-cruise also. No nightly comedy shows in the Attic were showing up in the Cruise Planner. Only one show in the Main Theatre on the last night. Don't worry, though, as soon as I boarded, the nightly Comedy Shows were there on the app to book! 2 shows every night, you're allowed to book one of them.

On Harmony in 9 days. Can book all the entertainment, except the Adult Comedy schedule is still not showing up in Cruise Planner. When I check the planner for the 2 cruises right before mine, there is not a nightly Adult Comedy Show. There is only one show, on the last night, in the Royal Theatre. Has Royal changed and eliminated the nightly shows?

Just did Deck 7, aft on Wonder. Didn't really have a problem with the Boardwalk sign blocking the way to cross. Just made sure we got on the correct side elevators. Not really a big deal at all. Wouldn't hesitate to stay on 7 again. Especially since its only one floor up or down to Boardwalk or Central Park. Prefer 6,7 or 8 for the ease of taking the stairs to get to those places (sometimes elevators are crowded). Also usually stay mid-ship, since I'm not a fan of feeling the ship rocking and rolling.

We had UDP last week on Wonder. We got all the reservations we wanted. The most important thing is we had 10:30 boarding and did our dining immediately. I was worried about getting Izumi Hibatchi, but it wasn't a problem. All our reservations were between 5:30-7:00. We went to Chops to make all reservations, then to Izumi for just that one. There was a long line at Izumi. It moved very slowly, as people were doing all 7 nights' reservations there. I think those behind us in line appreciated that we were so quick as we only had to book our Izumi. We also did Mason Jar brunch on embarkation day, and lunch twice at Playmakers. Someone told us they were able to make their UDP reservations while waiting to board the ship (I think they were in terminal VERY early) by logging on to ship's WiFi.

Just home today from Wonder. Glad you posted this picture, as I didn't take one. But these vents made all the difference in the world! Found Solarium to be quite comfortable with vents open! Not stuffy at all. Not the best place to be if you want to "tan" due to the cover overhead. Didn't think it was noisy at all. My only issue with Solarium was there didn't seem to be many servers walking around taking drink orders as in the past. Oh well, tough life, I just had to go get it myself!!

I usually book OV Balcony. I've seen the Minimum Bid to a JS at $100 per person and $500 per person. Does anyone know why/how Royal sets their minimum bids? Is it because of demand on that particular sailing? Is it based on how much I paid for the cruise, so if I got a great price, my minimum bid would be higher? Are everyone's minimum bids the same? TIA.

Thanks for the heads up! Booked for Wonder in 10 days. We have UDP, but I've run in to no dinner slots being available for Hibachi in the past, so I figured this at least guarantees us a slot. I think I've seen on these boards people paying separately for Hibachi to guarantee they have a time, and then getting onboard and having them transfer the reservation to the UDP and getting an onboard credit for the ala carte purchase? Anyone have experience with this?

Was on Harmony in August (previously Oasis and Allure multiple times) and Odyssey in November. I agree with a lot that's been said. While I'm glad we tried Quantum Class, will probably stick with Oasis class going forward. Odyssey felt very chopped up. Didn't like not being able to see from one end of the Promenade to the other. Seating in Italian and sushi was right next to a walkway. I would describe width as a single wide vs. double wide. We did, however, really enjoy Music Hall venue and 270. Odyssey had a nice large Diamond Club. Didn't enjoy Effectors at all (and too much "sniffing" of books in "The Book" production!). We had one night where I could feel ship movement, but it wasn't bad and I think we would've felt it on Harmony too. Bottom line: my recommendation is give Odyssey a try because of all the new options (bumper cars, Ifly, Zone Zero), with the knowledge that you'll enjoy yourself but might just like Oasis class a little bit better!

Aft, but only 5 cabins back of the aft elevators. Do you think this is a problem?

Trying Guaranteed OV Balcony for 1st time in January (Wonder). I can see assignment using the "Bar Code" trick, but it's not officially posted yet (Deck 7, I'm fine with the cabin). Has anyone ever seen this change to a different cabin? Or is the Bar Code trick pretty much a done deal? Still hoping for that Fairy Upgrade!!

Did Odyssey ifly late November. They weigh you. My husband, under 6 ft tall, was 4 lbs over the weight limit. He was not allowed to fly. They gave him a refund. Weird thing, if he had been over 6 ft tall, his weight/height would've allowed him to fly. So it's got to be some ratio thing. They were very discrete about it when they told him.

This same exact thing happened to us on our August Harmony cruise. We were one of the first 50 people on board, went to Chops first to make all reservations, they told us we had to go to Izumi for the Izumi reservations, and yes there was a long line and some very annoyed people. There were no dinner reservations available (nothing for Hibachi - there was sushi availability). We were able to get all other reservations we wanted. On Odyssey soon with 3 night dining package and am considering separately purchasing Izumi Hibachi to make sure we get it.

On Harmony last month, with UDP, went to Chops to make all reservations. I was one of the first 100 on board. They were able to do all Restaurants except for Izumi. They told us we could only make Izumi reservations AT Izumi. By the time we got there, maybe 10 minutes, all Izumi was booked for the whole week.

Black Friday 2021 I got combo of Unlimited Drink Package and Internet Surf/Stream for $72.99 a day (plus tip) for my August 2022 Harmony cruise. Was a great price and didn't see anything close to it after. I will definitely be checking the Black Friday sales this year!!

We were on Harmony 2 weeks ago and did Thermal Suite. It was $200 for the week for the 2 of us. Was surprised that it was pretty busy every time we went.

Cruise Planner has "Water Bottle Package" of 12 or 24 bottles. But when you pick your package, it says cans. Has anyone purchased this recently to know if its cans or bottles? Is it still Dasani? Thanks!

Since it sounds like the medical services onboard are pretty good, can I assume they have Paxlovid (I think that's the name) on board if we catch Covid at sea? (Of course, fingers crossed we don't!!)

On Harmony soon, I'm wondering how accurate the app is. Once the Entertainment & Activities gets loaded to app (hopefully before cruise!!), is it accurate? Hoping to plan dinner, etc. around this info. Also, are the dinner menus accurate? Thanks.

On Harmony in a month with Deluxe Drink Pkg for DH and myself. Got a great deal Black Friday for Drinks/Internet $79 per person per day. My DH wants to keep his package, but I've been diagnosed recently with medical issue where I can't drink (much anyway! Alas!). They are no longer offering Deluxe Bev/Internet combo in Cruise Planner. Not sure why. And cost of separate internet is high. If I just cancel both packages myself and call to rebook DH with Deluxe and myself with Refreshment, I'll lose great deal on original package. Any suggestions on best way to do this? Also, do they just take my word for it when I call, or do I have to show some form of proof? Thanks!
