@Cruise Raider After downloading stockperks app and I was approved, I asked for the shareholder credit. It took just over two days for it to be applied. I never received an email. I only knew because I went to princess.com and saw it listed.
You said you heard back from the captain, assistant cruise director, and HR rep. Most companies will not tell you what happens to the involved employee. Rest assured that the captain will make sure there are repercussions to that employee. I wouldn't be surprised if they are now no longer employed... however, you will never know.
I doubt you did anything to make this happen. We have read on here that some people have been early ticketed months before the 45 days when they did not ask for it. I would call the EZ Air number someone posted previously and if you don't get anywhere then ask for a manager. Keep in mind though that prices might be much higher now so the extra day could really cost you.
I vote for choice #2 because land first and then rest up a bit on the cruise. We have been to Fairbanks and Denali . We upgraded to Tundra Wilderness tour which I would advise to do as it goes further into the park.
@caribill It was extended through December 31, 2024. I looked on Princess and see that my shareholder benefit was processed for my August 3 cruise and is listed with my other OBC.
I think the balcony railings on all ships are something other than wood. Wood burns fast in a fire whereas composite and plastic don't. They probably melt.
My cruise is August 3. I was approved by stock perks so I then sent them my booking# etc. I haven't seen anything added yet or heard from them. I am hoping they will update. How do you know that stock perks is only processing cruises through July?
Princess does not assign boarding times (they tried to have suggested times for a while but it was only a suggestion). We always arrive around 10:00 or so. We may have to wait a little bit because actual boarding may not start til about 11:00. We like to have lunch in the dining room.
@Hlitner Thanks for your info. We don't take any narcotics but do take a controlled drug. My last cruise last year I tried finding out info from the countries we were going to and found some info was non existent. Even emailed the embassies and did not get a response from most. Spain, for one, did not respond. When I emailed again I got a response making it seem easy to send in paperwork and any questions don't hesitate to ask. I had a question and emailed back but never heard back from them. Ugh. That is probably one reason why some people take their chances.
The biggest thing for me is what happens in the worst case scenario if you are taken from the ship to a hospital in a country that does not allow your medication.
Sure looks nice to me! We all have different wants and needs and this is more than I need or want. I wouldn't pay for it because we don't sit around outside a lot but it would be lovely to have if the price was right.
Could you please clarify this? I have already paid, by credit card, for an excursion. I did this last month. I am not clear what I should do once onboard (and I have some OBC from the shareholder credit on my folio). Thanks!
I must have missed it when Stockperks was accepting it further out. I know Princess used to. As a matter of fact, I had sent it in to Princess (before Stockperks was tasked with this) and they put it on my account. Then I re-fared when the price went down and I lost it. Now I have to wait 😞. Could have used it to pay for an excursion. Now I don't know what I will use it on. My cruise is August 3 so just a few days after July 31.
