  1. You are served by the crew. As others have stared it's best to post questions about a specific cruise line on that cruise line's board.
  2. They're at the port. You'll see them. They depart for Horseshoe Bay when they're full.
  3. At one time there was a ferry that ran between Staten Island and Bayonne but it was discontinued in the early 1960s. It didn't run from the Staten Island ferry terminal though. It ran from the Port Richmond area near where the Bayonne Bridge is located. When I was in high school even when the ferry was still running I used to walk across the Bayonne Bridge to get to a roller skating rink in Bayonne. I don't know if they still allow pedestrians on the bridge, particularly since they raised the roadway a few years ago.
  4. You need to post this on the port of call boards for Aruba and Curacao.
  5. MSC Meraviglia will be cruising from Brooklyn. While Cunard and Princess are the primary tenants other cruise lines can sail from Brooklyn on dates when the pier is not otherwise in use.
  6. Breakfast and lunch will be in either Moderno or Cagney's . Sometimes they've used one for breakfast and the other for lunch .
  7. From NCL's current testing requirements by country for Bermuda. As others have already stated, testing is no longer required, but the Travel Authorization is. If you are unvaccinated you also need proof of travel health insurance. https://www.ncl.com/travel-requirements-by-country Bermuda Cruise Protocols FOR ALL SAILINGS ON OR AFTER OCTOBER 22, 2022 Age Vaccinated Unvaccinated < 2 years Nothing Required. Nothing Required. ≥ 2 years Travel Authorization required. Application fee $40 Travel Authorization required. Application fee $40 Proof of travel health insurance
  8. I see it on ncl.com. It departs Los Angeles on Jan 26 .
  9. NCL is not requiring testing of any passenger unless required by embarkation or port of call countries.
  10. In general you're not addressing people in the transportation industry on this website. In my experience people inquiring about accessible transportation here commonly use the term "handicapped accessible ". Also the OP had previously posted a related question that I had replied to on a separate thread on this board and did not indicate a need for (handicapped) accessible transportation.
  11. Seeds capable of propagation and intended for planting would be prohibited. Are chia seeds sold as a dietary supplement still capable of propagation or have they been processed in some way that precludes propagation? I believe that the seeds sold as a dietary supplement are dried and so can't be used to grow chia plants. On any event, you can buy them in just about any drug store, supermarket or health food store.
  12. I've generally received my credit card refund in 10 days or less after cancellation, but that can vary based on the bank that issued your credit card. Can't answer the part about a Cruise Next credit having not cancelled when using one of them.
  13. Based on reports I've read people typically are receiving their approvals a week to 10 days prior to their embarkation date. There's a phone number you can call if needed. Toll free 833-570-2594 ( I assume toll free number is for calls from the US), or 441-444-2498 . The lines are open 8 am to 8 pm . The phone line is not just for those leaving within 24 hours. You can call at any time with questions or concerns and many people report receiving their approval immediately after calling.
  14. Why do you think you can't transport them on an airplane? There's no prohibition against seeds or solid foods.
  15. As has already been explained they simply haven't gotten around to revising the wording on the TA form. Please read the SailSafe requirements by country on ncl.com and you'll see that effective with today's NCL departure(s) which correspond to arrivals on Bermuda on or after October 25, the testing requirement has been eliminated.
  16. I've been through the new terminal and my feeling is that you're making an issue out of something totally unimportant. You walk through the building and when you exit you go on your way to your destination in Puerto Vallarta. It doesn't detract from anything in Puerto Vallarta proper. It's not as if they put this shopping mall on the malecon or in the Zona Romantica.
  17. I may be wrong but I don't think the OP was asking about accessibility for handicapped persons.
  18. I recommend going in a day early, particularly in the winter where a snowy day an easily disrupt any form of transportation. Going by train is certainly a good choice. If you want to drive because of the cost of hotels and parking in Manhattan I'd recommend staying overnight in nearby Connecticut...perhaps the Stamford area...or in Westchester County NY, and then making the relatively short drive to the cruise terminal the next morning. Hopefully someone who lives in that area can make specific hotel recommendations . When driving in we always park at the cruise terminal. It's $40 per night, not cheap but quite reasonable for Manhattan and very secure and convenient. In the winter make sure you have a snow shovel, brush and ice scraper in the car as the parking lot is on the roof of the cruise pier. Since you live in Rhode Island you undoubtedly already have that in the car.
  19. The requirements table you've included in your post are those for passengers arriving in Bermuda prior to October 25. They were correct for your cruise, but today marks the first NCL cruise departure that arrives in Bermuda on or after October 25 so what you've quoted is no longer correct as the testing requirement has been eliminated. If you look at the current SailSafe protocols by country on ncl.com you'll see that what you've cited is no longer correct. Protocols change. You can't assume that what was correct for your cruise last week is correct today, and in this case it isn't.
  20. As I mentioned on your other thread I don't recommend taking a taxi because of recent problems that have been reported with drivers ripping off passengers. Even if that were not an issue you can encounter a line for taxis. Since you are on a fairly tight timeline l suggest pre booking a car service.
  21. Doesn't your airline permit you to check in 24 hours prior to your flight using their app or website? You shouldn't need 2 hours to clear TSA and get to your gate.
  22. In the next election? No, that's way off. Recreational use is currently only legal in 19 states and only 5 states are voting on legalization this November. Even if all 5 states approve legalization recreational use would still be illegal in a (slim) majority of states, not just a couple of states. The decriminalization adopted by many states doesn't equate to legality. https://www.cnet.com/news/politics/marijuana-laws-by-state-is-pot-legal-where-you-live/#:~:text=According to the National Conference,New York%2C Nevada%2C Oregon%2C
  23. If they're doing it for their own reasons then they need to change their published Sail Safe protocol that states fully vaccinated passengers will not need to test to embark. The only stated exceptions to that general protocol are for countries requiring testing. I still believe Oceania is just late in adjusting its protocol for embarkation in Greece.
