  1. One of the reasonable priced items that had been offered for purchase is not available. The RCI blanket. For those who ordered them on our sailing, they received a notice. Be safe.
  2. Good morning. So last night before we went to bed we both checked our mail and our welcome letter sent to suite guest arrived. We responded with our request for dinners, show as well as a few other things we have always requested. In addition in our message we asked if this is the "Junior" that used to be on the Allure and sure enough it is. We cannot wait to see him again. He has a dual role with RCI, he can be either a concierge or a Genie, where-ever and when-ever he is needed. Below is a copy of the (generic) email we received. Be safe. 3. Suitcases are slowly being packed. Sometimes gets a tad challenging when you have a four legged helper. We just need to add morning items, and they close and room for more. Cabin tags stuffed in holder and will be put on in Seattle. And how coincidental that 5 years ago today we were flying to Seattle for our Alaskan cruise on Explorer of the Seas and flew over this famous landmark. Be safe.
  4. FYI I sent a message to the MODS, to correct the thread topic. I will not be sailing for 10 years...............as it states. Oh, the Quantum has a Casino. 🙄 Be safe
  5. I am finally going to get some time to catch up and relax once we start our vacation. I have been hit or miss here on this thread, but have included all in my prayers. I wish there were crib notes to summarize all of the life moments, but I want to say I will try to make the time to catch up. Now I hope to get some relaxing time on our vacation and if your interested I will be doing a live thread. Take care
  6. To begin with this cruise was not a “blue light special” on the contrary it is ($$$), the price only went up over the last 15 months. However: This cruise will have a viewing from Alaska of the Super Blue Moon on August 30. Which in itself is a reason to PARTY!!!! Over the past few days our world has been impacted by a few devastating heartbreaking catastrophe’s, my heart as well as prayers go out whose lives have been impacted. Quite a few years ago Creedence Clearwater Revival said it best in the lyrics to “BAD MOON RISING”: I will be posting “Ad Lib” the daily events as they transpire. So sit back and pretend this is the beginning of a movie you want to watch. Now the rest of the journey will not be a Figment of your imagination, but will be determined by the reliability of getting access to post, so hope the WI-FI signal is strong. Finally. I must give credit to the internet for my re-posting of their pictures/captions. I own no rights to these nor am I compensated. Leading up to the cruise some daily preparation will be shared. Take care. Be safe.
  7. @Sea Dog Greg, glad you are ok, and thank full you agreed to go to the hospital to get checked out. Take care
  8. Corrected. Prayers for all. If you are watching. It is overwhelming. Sorry to share here. But I need to share my emotions. TY
  9. I am just so overwhelmed by what the people of Maui are going through. Currently watching the news conference on a major news channel. Every speaker is so kind and their statements share the impact on so many ways to all survivors. Such a massive destruction. Somehow I just noticed the misspelling of the word. “ WILDIRES” in the story line. I only focused on it when I had to regroup my thoughts and compose myself. Yes it is WILDFIRES. And the spelling means nothing But. To me I was able to realize the impact has affected all in so many ways. God bless this news station for broadcasting this tragedy so professionally. We all have personal battles. I can only pray for healing. As well as massive assistance.
  10. @Sea Dog WOW. This should help you get relief for awhile. @mo&fran I am sure many are giving you tons of helpful hints an if I may add mine. Try to stay hydrated as best you can. Pedialyte Gatorade Gingerale. What ever hits the spot. One day I will catch up and really read the last 150 pages. Hopefully soon. To all take care. Sue
  11. 😳 As a matter of fact. This place was named before that movie ever came out. And yes. It was open. Quick thinker you are. Be safe.
  12. Was our first weekend camping in our motor home. We traveled to Loundonville Ohio to, get this. WALLY WORLD. No kidding. I was totally impressed and pleased with our experience. The only down fall there was when the monsoon hit yesterday . Thunder lightning. And then to top it off the Hail and tornado warning. We did not have time to evacuate to the shelter………there facilities ——-shower/bathrooms. So we grabbed our valuables and sat up front in the cab part of motor home. High winds. Monsoon continued. Flooding. Thankfully no tornado touched down. Must have only been on radar in our area. Today. Our drive home was longer than expected per GPS. Bridge out. Ramps closed. Safely home. RV cleaned out and cleaned up. BBQ TIME. Be safe.
  13. I have not played the lottery, (those big ones since before Bella 1, no scratch offs since May), and soon will be on a slot machine on our Alaskan cruise. Hopefully saving up the good vibes till then. But. something tells me to play this one that is this high. So on my way to babysitting Sunday I will stop and invest $20. I have decided to pick my numbers for one of the tickets. And put the rest of the money on a computer pick. Lets see what happens. So if you hear of a winning ticket from Eaton Ohio (Where I stop for gas), hope it is me. Be safe
  14. Happy anniversary. Wishing you a fun filled safe get away. Thanks for sharing. Be safe
  15. @h20skibum HAPPY ANNIVERSARY. August is a great month to have been married and celebrate all those yearly milestones. Congratulations!!! Do not know why it won’t post your screen name. After I posted that it did.
  16. Thanks for sharing your travels, especially as you traveled on your anniversary getaway. Take care.
  17. After watching the news/weather reports yesterday we decided today was going to be a good day to finish some yard work. But, not going to happen now.
  18. Busy day. Just catching up. The garden vegetables doing great, thanks to all who shared their harvest. I did not want to make a full pot of coffee this morning so I just popped in a K cup. Someone, not mentioning any names (Lizzy) was very interested.
  19. A tad late In posting of produce from our garden. Our second picking. Total as of today. Cucumbers. 20 Zucchini. 9 Beans. Second picking.
  20. Last night we had the opportunity of being a part of our first military wedding. The bride is my daughters sister in law and the groom is a proud Marine. He currently serves on the Vice Presidents security entourage. Our daughter Christina was Matron of Honor and little Miss Zoey was flower girl. The ceremony and reception were beautiful. Semper Fidelis.
  21. We have reached the 4,000 page mark. Here’s to continuing shared friendships. Be safe. PS. Mark. You posted as I was typing. ❤️
  22. It is difficult for me to enjoy playing on these modern machines. Of course that is what the future holds. I have had all of my success on the old "reel" type machines. After I walk around and see what is offered I usually pick 2 to play on. In case another gambler is enjoying one of the machines I am interested in. Now mind you, the $$ can go fast, and the budget is set. Now next month on Quantum, I shall see if there is anything ----lets just say, that I feel enticed to play, and have some fun. Winning does not always happen, but it makes ones day when it does. Enjoy your cruise. Happy Anniversary. Be safe
