So agree, premium is glacial.

Had a complete disaster in Salt Kitchen tonight, slow service on arrival, starters lukewarm, mains arrive, mine already cooling, my wife's tough, not cooked well. Both sent back at about 9:50. Waited for no replacement to arrive for 10 mins and then left. No management response. Do I want a pizza, no!

This has not been the case on SS for at least 10 years. Even when sailing an entire season in Europe SS doesn’t carry Euros. Mind you, why would you wish to carry the equivalent of Monopoly money 😎

Maybe a little bit, but for long term repeats it's marginal.

Not sure if this helps but we have been told in the past that we could book SS through a US Travel Agent and pay the US price in US$ even though we live in the UK. Never tried though. We did try it with Princess some years back and they refused, stating we had to pay the more expensive UK telling price as we had UK passports and address. Ask them to show you where it is in the small print of their Ts&Cs.

Arrived in the rain and now we are leaving in the rain on our way to Funchal. The superspreaders have claimed one new victim, so 3 guests now.

Arrived in Ponta Delgada on the island of Sao Miguel and It’s definitely going to be an umbrella day. The Captain announced that we now have two superspreaders in quarantine, both guests but none amongst the crew as yet. I am still intrigued as to how they are being identified unless we really do have a bunch of selfless people onboard, and observation of the lack of mask wearing on buses and shuttles doesn’t confirm that.

With a single exception the staff on here are outstanding. Please give more details and examples.
