We first sailed MSC 2016 and entertainment was good then in US but was trying to fit a wide variety of Nationalities. They've adjusted some and we have nine or ten sailings down and main shows always packed. I guess I look at all the ads out there on TV. Many, especially when you listen to music, are from 80s. Must be someone they are going after. Cruise ads seem to be a younger age except some do the multi generational thing.

Our last missed port was Scotland which we were looking forward to. Captain came on, said going to miss due to 'weather' but would get to Iceland day early. He went on to say '...don't go to GS to be angry...'. That was it.

Did you sail to get MSC Diamond or did you status match?

Sun not my favorite but when we did sail on her, there was a large group of grocers onboard for a convention. Several venues closed. Did meet a nice family from Texas early on who was one of the grocers at Teppanyaki. Saw them several other times. Don't recall lack of hashbrowns or cookies but maybe the grocers supplied them.

We did a family trip 2006 on Gem. About 12 of us. DM wanted us to do everything together but it derailed once we got on ship.

If bluesea on, we can just have cc mg at her house. Or, I actually met and worked with one of the Dunkley's Dairy so maybe if they still have any pull we can get key to city.

On some ships leaving the card in when gone shows room as occupied with the lights outside so it won't get cleaned.

Will the sailing have an ignore function?

Per above and per sample menu which matches ncl website, major cutback and while once favorite place, that menu would not entice us.

No haven on Sun. Are you talking about the aft ones on 8-10?

If the above is current FR menu, then it has been scaled back quite a bit. Always thought it was a large menu but looks like most of the things we normally got are gone. I mentioned not long ago think FR days are numbered.

That age sounds right for him.

We sailed PG on a 11 night. Absolutely fabulous to have a ship with 300 people, knowledgeable locals, two private islands. Never felt port times were short.

Are there any OS open? Those get the sodas and waters too. Also nice to have the sodas and waters included. That at a minimum should be all suites.

They won't bring drinks under a package to room. From most of the posts I've seen over the years, Haven gets the nod over Retreat.

Is that the Jefferson who is younger? If so, we had him on Escape in a DOS. He was pretty good but first interaction was 'no drinks to room' which we knew. His wife was assistant to GM iirc at the time. Only reason mention room type was a post here a few months later who also had him in Haven to never see him and on disembarkation day they were in lounge waiting for walk off and he asked who was their butler and they showed him his card.

It's been a while, but we had Cagney's reservation on BA and given buzzer. About a 25 minute wait and the place not even full. Pre drink package. No free drink, told to sit. Younger group of six come out to complain about service to deaf ears. Thought one off only to experience it ourselves. The only positive was they offered to deliver dessert to room - we were in a DOS.

It has been awhile, but NCL usually has smoking section Port side by pool.

It has been about 18 months since we were there. We had ncl bus there so no worry about bag checkin. We got there around 10-10:30. People still coming out of terminal. Bag checkin outside had large line. Got inside, they were just opening checkin downstairs. Got through, went upstairs which is nice. Had to checkin again with Haven staff using tablets. Have a nice time.
