  1. We did Prima on first TA. Was in Iceland overnight. Don't recall any restrictions. Note where we docked you had a short walk or bus ride to transport hub.
  2. Unless it has changed, and first thing butler told us on last trip to Bermuda, they can't bring drinks under package to room. So it doesn't matter if Haven guest or not, drinks in room are out. Room service, sure.
  3. Well, at least we now know where the Lektor in From Russia With Love ended up.
  4. Go to buffet, Cagney's imo and reports here for large part keeps going down hill. Le Bistro might be better option.
  5. We had that room on Jewel for Baltics about ten years ago. NCL changed ship to Sun, no quick notice, found out here. NCL actually came through and gave us aft mini on Sun. Best minis in fleet.
  6. Not sure of current staff on Prima but Officers on our TA non existence. First time we had asst gm come to room on embarkation while jetlagged, mentioned one issue, never fixed. Had asst CS Mgr yell at us.
  7. Of course. Classy to have cabin full of clothes. If more than seven days, sure, but a week who can't make a suitcase per person work unless in a diverse climate.
  8. Wait, what? FDR has only been gone a couple of months and they reverted from the never discount stance? I haven't really followed the Alaska market other than the kroozcams this year and in the back of my mind it seems they have a lot of ships up there this year.
  9. Wait, maybe they just have the foresight to see another industry shutdown?
  10. As a high level rewards member, there is no goodwill towards higher members generally speaking in our experience.
  11. Which will vary wildly from ship to room to date. They have no means to do that across the board unless you call them and ask or look online for your specific booking you are looking at. You didn't mention the current year 50% which I'd take.
  12. Not being unreasonable at all. The last three years we've had more leeway with one airline than any other business including an issue last week. It's called doing the right thing.
  13. Yes, saw report of paid one being $149 recently. CruiseNext, should have changed name to CruiseLast, CruiseNeverAgain, CruiseNoHelp, CruiseRoboCall, CruiseYourThoughts here. Since 2016 sole intent to sell future certs. Get calls to room ala like before election. Zero help onboard getting anything done. Used to have a couple days to book bts tour, now first night by set time. Same for wine. Go to desk, most useless help or power ever to do anything. 2018 asked several times for our Duc with no luck based on what should be included. One night going to LeBistro, a senior F&B Officer saw us and asked how things going. Generally well but mentioned no wine. It was there in room after dinner. Shoreside, long time since I wrote a company a few years back. Even escalated it only to be turned back to same department. Never contacted after referral. If they want to save some money, fire any person associated with CN including uppers at Miami and put in kiosks or on room screen to buy certs and book things. A large part, other than prices, from sailing again is the land and ship side CN interactions.
  14. Welcome to CC. Previously reported except I don't recall seeing the 10% offer. Spirit is one of our favorite ships.
  15. There are hundreds of rooms on a deck, no one is going to track you down on one deck if you give a deck number unless they listen for the creaky room. We did the TA last fall and we noticed room creakiest we ever had but not to point of no sleep.
  16. Heck, we've even been in the grab every dollar you can Nassau and many stores closed due to election day and bars shut down as a requirement.
  17. Is it just that sailing or they drop it all together?
  18. They are both older ships, been on both, Star twice. I'd give edge to Star. Newer, bigger buffet. No front lounge any longer but Sun has one. Welcome to CC.
  19. I think if you could smuggle those on cruises out of England and opening your cabin as a Speakeasy you could easily pay for your trip.
  20. I 'heard' last week of leaving an iPhone in spouse car to track them. Sounds like the tags would work too. Learning of this, I'm checking every day that DW hasn't done that to me. I'm suspecting she is suspecting me of going to a TA to book a cruise.
  21. Is there adult beverage service at home or has Miami stopped it there too?
