  1. My idea, only small help, have CN staff help clean. Yes, it will take away from robocalls yet chance to do door to door sales. And yes, certainly leave the old Dailies in room so guests can look ahead to what is going on.
  2. I lived on a co-Ed floor so it equaled out plus there were other latitudes perks.
  3. Yes, there is the forward lounge. Aft is outside seating area with food at times. Buffet is small and people tend to linger. Seating and was breakfast and lunch items port side from buffet. Nice central atrium.
  4. Definitely go to Berlin. One of best places we've been to. We did it via private tour with four of us plus lady and son in a van. Wasn't super cheap but worth every penny. Saw lots, had lunch, driver knew secret bathroom spots.
  5. They won a free cruise? Reminds me of grade school on 'star' day if you had star under lunch tray you got a treat. Wednesdays only though.
  6. Welcome to CC. No added benefits other than what may come with a certain room category like OS or higher. Of course you have dedicated lounge, restaurant, and sun deck including a pool. Found food was consistently good in restaurant.
  7. Viva and Prima basically the same. Both new. Prima has hint of luxury both in rooms and public areas. I find those newer ships too expensive.
  8. Yeah, they had those in the back. Also miss the flaming baked Alaskas.
  9. You are not wrong, the tablets were there from get go. Love FR. First time on Escape staff walked through how to do things. Been there four times and great. Other nice thing sometimes open for lunch which is nice option.
  10. Welcome to CC and for finding an 8 year old thread. I sailed Skyward first time too when 14ish back around 83 or 84. Still have picture with Captain going into show. Loved the Dive In t-shirts.
  11. If you are all on one reservation, no need for other accounts. That being said, I created accounts for DW and kids years ago. Nice to make sure points are correct. Not sure how they handle kids now, but you could not see their history until 15 or 16.
  12. We had aft 12 Haven and it was creaky. Not unable to sleep creaky, but surely never seen before creaky.
  13. For us, the MDR never asked about allergies until post pandemic cruises. They were very good asking about it last trip. Haven, never been asked days before about anything.
  14. I'm sure MKing can give all details including hour by hour details. Best I can do is Spirit and Dawn sailed around then, maybe others.
  15. Never tipped. Never seen anyone mention it. It is a free perk. Percent on free perk = zero. Those doing the hard work in laundry never going to see the tip. Saw news article about tip whiplash recently.
  16. 16 night in Spirit OS next year $33,000+.
  17. That is where we were at on Prima in September. Again, a bit to the SE of the cruise building/souvenir center.
  18. Maybe due to Sail and Sustain? That was the line last Fall when they started to cut out ports.
  19. Other than the big cities, where does a dinner for two come up to $178?
  20. Just book an independent tour.
  21. Cagney's has been getting bad reviews for awhile as they continue to cut. We avoid it.
  22. We had the same room in late 2016 and the shaking kicked in around 20 knots. Like bad vibrating with all glasses rattling, room shaking, thought prop was going to break. We had CC member do visit and thought it was crazy. Luckily only about 12 hours whole trip. Other issue ignored was very poor shower pressure until mentioned at Captain party then magically fixed. Otherwise, other than small balcony, we liked the room. They are currently selling that room next year for $33,500 for 16 day trip if interested. No thanks.
  23. We missed Port in Scotland on Prima and got nothing.
