  1. Is there a charge to print at Internet Cafe? How much per page? Thanks.
  2. Okay, I just tried it again replying to the thread "World Cruise 2023...". When I clicked on "quote", it showed the long post and all the pictures. I replied. Then I checked my replied post, and it doesn't show the long post and all the pictures, it only showed a small portion and the word "expand". So, it only showed AFTER I replied. Thank you.
  3. Thank you. I didn't know it is automatic. Yesterday I did a reply to a post on the thread "World Cruise 2023 -Occasionally...", and it included the long post and all the pictures in that post. So, I had to "cut" all the pictures and part of the post before I reply. Then I noticed, a lot of other replies only had a small part of the post and no pictures but had the "expand".
  4. Sorry, this post if off the topic. I noticed your post showed only "part" of the post that you are replying to, then I saw "expand", and when I clicked on "expand", I saw the entire post that you replied to. Can you kindly show me how to do that? A lot of times when I responded to a certain post, I only want part of that long post to show, but I can't figure out how to do it your way. TIA.
  5. Thank you. On the average, we spent and will continue to spend $15,00-$20,000+/yr on Princess cruises, so 10% off is really a big saving. That is why I am debating if we should buy $20,000 ($5,000 a month for 4 months) while that offer is still around.
  6. Thank you for the suggestions. We are not interested in snorkeling or boat trip, but are interested in sightseeing. My original plan was to book the private tour on the 2nd day, and do Moorea on the 1st day. I did use Viator, but the East Coast tour we are interested in was sold out on the 2nd day (I waited too long to decide on that tour and when I was ready to book, it was sold out), so we booked the 1st day. I did see some Moorea tours that we are interested in, but since the tour meeting point is on the Moorea side, and I am not certain if for sure we will be able to take the ferry and meet the tour at the destinated time, so I didn't want to pre-book the Moorea tour. Which was the reason I asked if there are tour vendors by the Moorea ferry pier so we can join after we get to the Moorea side.
  7. Option to buy AARP Princess gift cards at 10% off (limit 5) has been around for years or only since the Pandemic when Princess business not doing well? Wonder how long this discount will be around? Debating if should stock up on those gift cards before the promotion goes away? We only cruise with Princess, and on the average, probably only spend about $15,000-$20,000/yr.
  8. Thank you for the information! Princess offers an entire land tour of 4 hours for only $89, and since we are Elite, will get 10% off, and we can pay with gift cards (purchased at 10% off), so the net price for us is $72pp. But we don't want to be on the big bus with so many people; we also not interested to see the Fern Cave, so we decided to book a private 4 hours tour doing only the island's East Coast. Tour is maximum of 4 passengers per tour. The private tour is $74pp.
  9. Thank you so much for your detailed information!! Our itinerary shows overnight in Papeete, no Moorea. We booked private excursion for the 1st day, but only from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. We were thinking maybe after the excursion, we will return to the ship for a short break, then leave the ship again to check out the Papeete Market. Then the next day take a ferry to Moorea. Since you mentioned there is no vendors by the ferry terminal (Moorea side), then maybe we will just don't bother to go to Moorea. Maybe after the 1st excursion, just return to the ship and rest. Then the next day go check out the market and nearby streets. Our ship will leave at 5 p.m. the next day. I don't want to get local currency if not a "must" have, because I don't want to have leftover currency of no use. Maybe we will only buy from booths or vendors who take cc or USD. You mentioned your ship stayed overnight in Papeete. I read on some travel sites that mentioned there are lots of food trucks at night by the cruise terminal. Did you try any food from the food trucks? If so, good and clean? Take cc or USD? Thank you!😊
  10. Thank you for your information on Papeete and Moorea. We will have a port stop in Papeete in April on Majestic Princess. The ship will arrive early morning, overnight there, and leave next day in the late afternoon. I have a few questions, and appreciate any input. 1. Did you need to get local currency or can use credit card for all your purchases? 2. You noticed any ATM by the cruise terminal? 3. Your Moorea ferry $10/way, did you pay with USD cash or you were able to use credit card? 4. We are debating if on the 2nd day, we should take the ferry to Moorea. After you got to Moorea, did you notice if there were tour vendors by the ferry pier selling tours? 5. Were there much to do or see in Moorea by the ferry pier if we only plan to stay nearby? Thank you in advance for your assistance!!
  11. Thanks. We will only go to Tahiti one time, so don't want to have leftover of local currency. Did you try their night time food trucks by the cruise ships? If so, did you like it? Can use credit card?
  12. Do you know if there is ATM by the market? Also, those booths that only take cash, will they take USD? Thank you.
  13. Yes, 18 sea days, so nice! We love sea days. We only cruise on Princess, and we have visited almost all the ports that their ships go to that we want to visit. Now, we mainly go on the Princess cruises that have many sea days.☺️ We have done a lot of repositioning cruises and loved all of them.
  14. Thank you for the information. We are doing the 27 days TransPacific cruise on Majestic. April 4 from Sydney to Los Angeles. Will visit 3 NZ ports, Tahiti (overnight), and 3 Hawaii ports. About 20 years ago, we did a 8 days land tour of Australia (Sydney, Gold Coast, Melbourne), so this time, we will arrive Sydney only one day before the cruise (just in case of flight delay). We will arrive at 8 a.m., so we will have a full day to do some shopping for snacks and souvenirs to take back to the U.S. for friends/family.
  15. Did you purchase your items at the market in Papeete with local currency or you were able to use your credit card?
  16. Besides testing the day before embarkation, during our 28 day cruise vacation, we plan to test ourselves every 4 days and also on the last day before disembarkation, If we test positive, we need to be isolated; we don't want to give the virus to others if we are positive. So we need about 18 test kits for the two of us. The 20 tests we have at home expire in July, we might as well use it. So we prefer to bring those tests instead of buying new ones in Sydney.
  17. I booked solo cabin and I want to pay for my sister also (different solo cabin) using my OBC. When I call, can I book for 2 persons in different cabin and ask to have both dinners be charged to my cabin?
  18. I plan to bring my home (U.S.) self-test and perform the test in the hotel the night (April 3) before my Princess cruise. We have 1 day in Sydney before our cruise. All the home self-test kits (made in U.S.) I have at home will expire on March 31, 2023. When my sister went to Canada a few months ago, she brought back some self-test (made in Canada) with the expiration date of July 31, 2023. So I decided to bring those test kits to Sydney. When I checked the site (below) last month, the Canada test kits I have were on the list of self-test that were approved in Australia. Today I went to that website again, and noticed the list was updated on January 30, 2023. Now, the kits from the Canada manufacturer is no longer on the approval list. Does that mean if I use those kits that are not on the approval list, Princess will not accept my test result? https://www.tga.gov.au/products/covid-19/covid-19-tests/covid-19-rapid-antigen-self-tests-home-use/covid-19-rapid-antigen-self-tests-are-approved-australia
