Can you let me know why I have not got advices re replies for several weeks

Yes I know this but wanted to get to know the waiters instead of having to start afresh every night It really dos not make sense to keep changing the restaurant as well as the table On the Sky last week I had the same table e very night so the waiters knew our preferences

I have just spent 30 minutes booking the dining for the cruise on 13th Sep via the app on the computer I am trying to get shared table every night The only offer of shared is at 6pm bit early for me but ok I picked it. The first night it offered the Bordeaux on deck 6 ok great I picked it the 2nd night it only offered the Provence deck 5 dining room and that happened every other night so I do not get a 'traditional' type of dining but different restaurant each night with probably new people WHAT A FIASCO Why do they make things so difficult Does anyone have an e mail link for the Maitre'D so I can contact and ask for clarification or every night in the same place. I know it will be almost impossible to get to see him when we first embark so I will try earlier Thanks

Thanks ozWoody proceeding with my argument and will try to learn how to take screen shots for the future or download the whole page offer as you did so I am not a nuisance again

In 60 plus cruises where I always have a few dollars in the slots each night I have never received any offers free or cheap so perhaps again only USA cruisers are rewarded

Exactly the same again so without a copy and paste I cannot re see what I tried to book Thanks eveeryone

The Sky only had 300 USA and 80 Oz people on board all the rest were Uk but when spoken to they would have liked to chance to share.

On the recent flash sale for P&O they said book by ?? whch I did and they would double the obc to $300 This has not come through and neither the TA nor P&O will confirm it I do not have a note of the sale details nor is it now available on web if anyone booked with this sale and got the double obc or has a screen shot the offers for the last flash sale PLEASE can you assist me

Yes we spoke with him and he "organised" for us to change to a different restaurant at about the same time and he promised a shared table No it did not happen the door guard at the new one said exactly the same and we had again a table for 2 I have written to the bosses at Princess and asked for elucidation on this matter

Yes thank you Big ship lots of walking as we were at the pointed end I was just rather disappointed that although I had booked via the app for the same time each night to dine at a sharing table we were told there are no sharing tables and never asked anyone in thee line if they would like to share (as they used to) we had the same table for 2 each night and this was close enough to the next door table to talk if we/they wanted to but not the same as the old traditional making friends tables

Perhaps as there never seemed to be lines they did not bother and of course it is quicker for the waiters to deal with a table for 2

Most of the tables were for 2 but put close together so luckily we could chat to others otherwise the large tables were for families we were given the same table each night

On the Sky Princess this week the most cruised only had 1400 ish days and the 2nd had 1200 the 3rd was 700 ish The lunch was for only 20 couples not the usual 40 and no staff were on the tables as the captain said he hoped that in the future it would go back to having a staff member on each table.

I spoke with many couples on these tables for 2 on the Sky they would have prefered to share many of them but were not given the option. When in line I NEVER heard the entry staff offer 'would you care to share?'

That is good news I hope by January the Magestic will do so

I have just returned from a nice cruise on Sky Princesss but although we used the app and were confirmed as the same time every night for a shared table (with strangers NOT RELATIVES) we were advised they did not do shared tables "as No one wanted them" not true as we spoke with many who would have loved to chat to others while dining but were not offered this choice. I do HOPE that Princess reads these forums to bring back at least half of one dining room for sharing tables as we had so many great friends over the years from our table companions and they are stilll friends. We are due on the Magestic Princess in January and do hope to have a shared table to meet friends we have not yet met. If sharing is ot you choice please do not 'heckle' at me this thread is my feelings and to ascertain how many cruisers would still like to share.

Yes without corkage 1 bottle each and others if you do but you will be charged for them $18 I think
