Strangely enough I lost my medallion on a cruise and instead of using the facility to find out where it was so I could retrieve it when I reported it at the pursers desk they issued me with a new one?????????

Having plowed through these pages with their various off shoot subjects I am now pleased that we are down under. I have complained in the past that US gets special treatment, perks and competitions not available to us but having just taken 4 cruises from UK and here we appear to be in two different planets regarding Princess. UK cruise on Sky only staff wore masks but there was no self service at all not even coffee or water in the buffet. No covid outbreak that we were aware of. Coral and Majestic in Australia everyone was tasked to wear masks with 'mask police' travelling with boxes of them in case you had 'forgotten' and washing hands supervised correctly but buffet in both ships had self service. again no covid outbreak that we were aware of. I will hope that this continues on our Majestic cruise next month

I do think that messages to Princess Head office giving these thoughts and mistakes that happened would assist6 in them going back a little towards Traditional dining Please try for all our sakes

Where are you as it rained for 3 days 2 weeks ago when we were in Melbourne and we stayed in dock for 3 nights due to the weather??

They should really be re-hidden after their photo has been taken and posted on Facebook cruising ducks page saying when and what ship- (has been the plan for a few months now)

On my last cruise I brought along and hid 3 ducks with their names and instructions attached At a trivia meeting the 21nd in command said that "people keep giving him ducks and he does not know why he now has about 20" Obviously no one is interested in FB cruising ducks page

Tried that He said it was not part of his job anymore and we HAD TO USE THE DINE LINE

Funny about the masks now being 'optional' On the Coral a few weeks ago they were very very strict and on the Pacific Explorer last week they also kept chasing people and giving out tannoy instructions but I just read that Holland America are allowing staff to not wear masks now

The OP said they were almost foodies and therefore the Princess cruise would be a much better match Just off a Pacific P&O cruise and the food is just about ok but certainly not up to Princess standards and yes I have cruised Princess in the last month TWICE

Yes Perth proximity to Bali and also Thialand gives them very cheap travel there

Just booked Majestic P 13 days NZ and back for $1097pp direct with Princes as ALL the TA sites asked Contact us or SOLD OUT

Yes both arrived safely and when we got off not a taxi in site we waited ages and eventually shared a van with 2 other families but the 'taxi van' charged 20 per person to Central but did not tell us until we had left the docks

Just got off Pacific Explorer and although we offered it twice they did not seem at all interested in our Rats it was a non event Masks were more than recommended but still people ignored it glad there was only 50% occupancy on board

I have everything downloaded on the app but cannot find a place for speciality dining and I want the first night steak meal with complimentary wine Any suggestions please
