DH was positive (no symptoms) on day 6 of our cruise and I was on day 11 but I feel (so long as you are not feeling ill) if you have to isolate a cruise ship being waited on hand and foot with free wifi and drinks is the way to go Not being at home and having to cook etc without being able to go out would be far worse

Thanks for suggestions I have a booking on the 2 hotels mentioned as all the others were either too expensive or not where we wanted Just wanted to find someone who had used them to see if the extra money ($700) was worth it

My saga re speciality dining continues My TA advised me that I had a specialty dining voucher with my booking (which I did not know about) - after I had managed to book it on the app. I noticed I have been charged directly to my bank account via debit card. Tried the Live Chat line to request that as I had a voucher would they refund the debit taken NO! This is in the too hard basket. The voucher can only be used once on board (WISH they would tell us these things) sooooo I was told I have to cancel the booking made and hopefully eventually get my money refunded.... I went into the app (where I had originally booked the steakhouse) to find that there is no booking for that date at all (despite being charged) So I e mailed Princess on two of their addresses asking for the situation to be investigated and my monies refunded But as usual if we get an acknowledgement it just advises they will answer in the next 4 weeks sooooo still waiting and the cruise in in February Hope they get it sorted before we sail

I just need confirmation that either hotel is good for transport even taxis and not on a hill please

I am choosing between 2 hotels and wonder if the difference in price is worth it we are mid 80's and not walking too well so want to be able to get MTR or taxi easily to see particularly the Gardens by the Bay and that area. The choice is between Bliss Hotel Upper Cross Street Chinatown and Clan Hotel Cross Street - They both SAY they are close to MTR but what would your choice be and why? Thanks

My cousin was in need of a special yoghurt and mackezins beer for his medical problems before he passed and we asked Princess and got a letter advising that as a special he could bring them on board

Southern Highlands but this is the first time we have managed to get the water to 29 degrees which is what I need to get in If we had a couple of hot days to warm the water a bit we would have 2 days rain which cooled it down again so enjoying this today (and tomorrow)

just making the best of the best weather here for long long time and had my first swim in 2 years in our pool (well 3 so far today actually) so hope to continue for the rest of the week at least

We got seniors rates when we did this years ago and our private(public people) tour was much better than the cruise line one which was ahead of us. In fact they were going slow so we went to the board room for our tastings and got much more there about 7 beers and 1 cider I remember. Also their cafe does a good lunch

Surely with all the hours available they can organise that there is a space for half an hour in the vista lounge to have trivia as usual but when I suggested this I was told it was impossible

I had this same conversation with the cruise director but was told that there was no where else to go and when I suggested Hollywood he said no screen but we did not have a screen for many years so just put it in the too hard basket

I agree we gave up trivia for the afternoons as we could not organise the seating for a team and that is half the fun

I have been trying to book the steakhouse without success when my TA told me I already had a complimentary one with my booking (I did not know) so prompted by a TV programme last night I used the money I have 'saved' and bought a bail of hay for the flood stricken farmers who have lost everything and are not having a Happy Christmas; but a bail of hay will feed some of their animals. Why not buy a test from your local pharmacy and just do it yourself 8 hours before You need to photo the test result against an official photo (driving licence) with date That is all they need

At least you were lucky to have trivia in the Explorers lounge Now Princess are having trivia most times in the afternoon in Princess Live which is like a theatre seating and does not allow you to have a group team concept not good at all I asked about it and was told we have no where else to go - therefore they should reorganise the times of clashing entertainments or make more use of the Hollywood bar area (where the excuse given was they did not have a screen there) we had trivia for years without screens

I would say so It has changed my mind the difference on each is the cost of a bottle of wine so needs thinking about Keep safe Evon
