  1. Please advise is there still traditional dining at the same time and table every night if we want it and if so how do we book it - before we leave home on the computer app for instance (dont use a phone and dont have wifi facilities other than at home)
  2. I hope you may get your cash back sometime in the future if you cannot cross pass the cheques to someone who has a US bank
  3. Is it too late to ask the original company to cancel the cheques nd refund to the card? I must admit when it is possible I use Paypal and my credit card so get 2 lots of insurances for problems
  4. Did you try to use them for your account on another cruise?? on the ship??
  5. Myki will issue you with replacement cards free if yours have got old and credit your new card with the old balance as we did this last month. I understand that recently Queensland have cancelled sales of the Go card so do not know what it will be replaced with
  6. When using White Bay we train to Town Hall where there are lifts to get to the road and then taxi to White Bay and it is a short journey about $20 (for 2 persons) when Captain Cook was running it was $9 each and the very long walk dragging cases.
  7. So sad that a Carnival Group company should behave so irresponsibly when people in their charge are ill. Knowing that there was covid on board I do not understand their reluctance to ensure masks were worn On Princess this last week everyone without exception (EXCEPT children) had to be masked and there were staff walking around with boxes of masks and giving them to you watching you don them if you had forgotten them. They were also diligent at the Buffet entrance ensuring that everyone washed their hands. All areas where there were drinks were sip and cover areas except the restaurants and even there you had to be masked going to and from your table. To my knowledge there was no covid on board so obviously Princess have in this instance got it right. Off on P&O Australia next month and hope they are as diligent.

I doubt 'Poor Jan' even read it but it was a polite explanation of why I was disappointed that my previously organised every night at the same shared table had been deleted by the medallion and I was unable to rebook this as they only had 5.30 available Not that it was any help at all from a telephone call but I expect we will get a lot of this 'assistance' They think that a unhelpful phone call will stop us nagging and I suppose they ae correct as I have decided to wait until I board and chase the Director of tables (sic) then

  11. It took 7 weeks and numerous e mails to all the different ccl addresses but eventually got it this week for 13th Sep (applied to P&O for a cruise with them at the same time as my first application to Princes and got the obc within 3 hours!!!

  14. Princess site for Coral world says The Manhattan cruise port is located just west of Hell’s Kitchen, an eclectic neighborhood near Times Square. Not only a convenient departure port, New York City is an excellent option for those craving the fast pace of city life. Seemingly endless options are just a subway or yellow taxi ride away! However it appears the Hell's kitchen has amalgamated with Chelsea flea and is only open weekends we are there Wed and Thursday so no good for us
  15. The do not post medallions in many countries other than USA so check in gives them to everyone

With all the problems Medallion dine my way has given me for my next cruise I wrote to Princess JanSwatz and wow! got a telephone call today from Princess advising that they did not have any spaces on the cruise for me to have a shared table When I pointed out that I had - several weeks ago - booked the same time every night for a shared table and two weeks later all but one day had disappeared from my account she said that I had cancelled them???!! I advised that this was not correct and obviously it was ANOTHER glitch from the Medallion app but she reiterated there wee no spaces for me to book now for shared table. I asked why she had telephoned just to advise what I had seen on the dine my way and she said this was just to acknowledge that thy had contacted me!! She went on to say when we had ' make friends' on board we could go to the customer relations desk and have the bookings linked and have a shared table with them them How they would then have a large table when they do not ow escapes me and I then advised that it was a shared table that enable us to make new friends not visa versa So no joy then for me this cruise hope they do not 'cancel' the bookings I have made for the Majestic in January
  17. Not really when we used it there were 3 of us on board for the journey and then has almost a km to walk along bad roads pulling luggage I could not even manage that now Taxi for me always and if from Wynyard or Town hall very cheap
  18. Did that to all 3 offered addresses and got one acknowledgement promising a reply in 3 working days!!!!!!!!!!! I will take proof on board and get together with the Captains Circle rep if needed
  19. All done again just got a acknowledgement with a promise of a reply in 3 days????
