  1. I had to laugh when I first read this. I think of thermos as insulated long underwear for winter sports. 😉
  2. We wouldn't pre-order water. Either buy it as we need it or drink what comes with the BP. We also have no problem drinking the ships water.
  3. Curious to what itinerary. This thread has made it clear that the itinerary makes a difference at least with Celebrity for the different water container types.
  4. Welcome aboard (to CC). Yes but I agree with @39august. Are you cruising solo? When we use to bring wine onboard we always packed it in our carry-on. No chance of security holding your checked luggage in the naughty room for further inspection once you are notified to go to the naughty room. Then you are responsible to schlep your checked luggage to your stateroom. You will be allowed to also carry your case (or whatever the limit is) of coke onboard.
  5. What itinerary? We had plastic water bottles on our March B2B Caribbean cruise on the Explorer.
  6. Possibly you were drinking light beer. 😂
  7. Water is included in the CBP and the PBP.
  8. Most bars between 5 to 7:PM. Your CC letter in your stateroom with all your perks/benefits will let you know what bar(s) are excluded. No CC drinks in any dining venue. You'll have to bring them in with you.
  9. 35 pounds. 😂 If you're paying it's $35.00.
  10. Take responsibility and you won't be charged for the towels. 🙄
  11. Earlier this morning I booked a shore excursion for our March cruise. No issues. Using google chrome, windows 10, laptop.
  12. And if all else fails, just get the towels from the pool deck and take them with you. We never pack beach/pool towels.
  13. Not sure about the sparkling wine but the other three yes.
  14. Since your question(s) are Celebrity Cruise specific, you may want to ask over on the Ports Of Call forum. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/2-ports-of-call/
  15. The printed copy of the Cruise Compass is another must have for us. We have walked by so many cabins in the morning that if I was a cabin attendant , I would quit. Disgusting!! And those same people would be the ones complaining about the cabin attendant. My wife has said if we had a cleaning service come to our home, we'd still do our normal daily/weekly house cleaning before the cleaning service arrived. I agreed. 😁
  16. I thought everyone did that. But we don't sort our trash. We'll leave that to the experts.
  17. Like at home we never leave anything out of place in our cabin. The cabin attendant doesn't ever have to move or work around any of our personal belongings. We draw the line when it comes to making the bed, filling up the ice bucket (twice a day), sorting the trash. We also want fresh towels twice a day. That's the cabin attendants job. Towel animals are not required either in our cabin.
  18. Next time before heading into the SL, you should tape over your pinnacle badge (of course using your pink duct tape) and using your sharpie and print "Pinnacles Stayin' in a Suite" (type of suite is highly recommend). Bucky can get away with just printing on his Pinnacle badge, "I'm with her <----". 🍷 😁
  19. I always thought one side of the Promenade deck is for non smoking and the other side is for smoking. That's how it's handled on Celebrity and RC.
  20. I was just in my CP. Using a laptop, google chrome, windows 10.
