We have two cruises booked in 2023 with AI. Wish we had OBC and not the Wi-Fi option. Useless for us as we get the 180 minutes if CC internet plus we stay disconnected while cruising.
I'd like to see Celebrity go back to the offer before (I think it was called good, better or best) the AI where you good choose, two, three or all four selections. CBP, gratuities, OBC and Wi-Fi. We always selected CBP, OBC and gratuities.
When? What ship? What itinerary? Where was it talked about? Depends on the itinerary concerning crowding and what time you attend. I'm sure there were "some" cruises with crowds. We are always in by 5:PM and out by 5:45 PM. Well attended but always a chair to sit in and no issues with service. Our last 2019 cruise was September on the Summit and the evening CC HH in the SL was still happening. IMO, CC is a good source based on personal experiences and the evening CC HH in the SL was talked about a lot since cruising resumed. But there's only one source that counts. Things change. Say it's not so. 😂
I agree with @drakes2(#35). Our experiences also. IMO, another Celebrity cut back. I thought maybe the halt to the evening CC HH in the Sky Lounge was only temporary when cruising started back up. Doesn't look that way. Only the CC can answer the real reason. I've never read anything about the reason for the change from the CC or Celebrity. If the change is going to be permanent then I believe the CC HH needs to include the first evening and allow CC HH drinks to be ordered in all the dining venues. Hate to see perks/benefits taken away. We like how RC is now handling their CAS HH drinks. Off my soap box.
True. Celebrity will also give you ~15 minutes complementary internet minutes if you're on a B2B cruise to fill out the survey for the first leg. I've always used our CC internet minutes to do the survey.
On our September Summit cruise, that's what it looked like. The basketball hoops were still in place. Maybe the activity staff sets a schedule for both (?).
We've never experienced that. Maybe the fake ring door bell discourages it. 😂 I know of someone that had the cabin attendant disable the doorbell for their suite.
Thanks @LMaxwell for making some of us to think out of the box. I never tried to use our CC HH drinks in the MDR. We have for years had the CBP. We'll be on the Apex in March (also have AI with the CBP) but I'm going to ask out of curiosity. Another thought is it may not be recognized fleetwide (?). I remember when RC started allowing the CAS HH drinks in the MDR it wasn't fleetwide. It is now fleetwide.
We're always concerned that someone will get the hairbrained idea and set up their musical equipment on the balcony next to ours. Maybe I should consider bringing my drum kit on our next cruise.
Hmmm, and I'll strongly disagree with you. I can think of a lot of great music to get the crowds up and dancing from the 50's, 60's and non disco 70's.
