I saw that also on our NE/Canada September Summit cruise. Not sure of the number waiting but I was surprised when I was watching others play. Glad to see pickleball being played on the ships. Maybe someday I'll give it a go.
Like you I was only sharing my experiences on our recent Summit cruise. I must have missed you on that cruise. 😉We cancelled our March 2023 B2B cruise on the Millennium out of OSJ.
You also run the risk of your luggage being held by security and you having to go to (where ever that will be on the ship) and open your luggage for further inspection. Then you will need to schlep your suit case to your stateroom. IMO, not worth the hassle. As others have suggested, pack your preferred beverage in your carry-on.
Why did you quote yourself. Never mind. You can also get grilled chicken breast at the pool/mast grill.
Back to the topic of this thread. IMO, cruises leaving from OSJ have some of the best Caribbean itineraries. Port intensive and very few sea days. First leg of our March B2B Caribbean cruise had zero sea days and the second leg had two.
Yes there may be a line at the pool/mast grill depending on the time of day. Well worth the short wait as we always request our 'burger cooked our way. Maybe you were standing behind us. 😂 I've also seen the OVC and the mast/pool grill have pans of precooked 'burgers. Never had one. Better is subjective. If yours was in your opinion, that's all that matters.
I wouldn't consider anyone sitting at the martini bar enjoying their drink(s) a chair hog! Go early. The martini bar is always busy in the evening before the dining venues open and after. IMO, Celebrity's most popular bar no matter the class of ship.
CC is a great place for a wealth of knowledge from many cruisers. I enjoy and respect reading others perspectives of their cruises, class of ships, intinaries, etc. But no way would we book or not book a cruise line, ship, itinerary, etc. based on their positive or negative opinions or experiences. We'll make those decision based on our experiences.
