We were on the Summit in September on the NE/Canada cruise. Agree with the revolution. No issues with staff no matter their job title. We didn't have any special requests so our customer service experiences wasn't what you experienced.

Agree. Didn't need the added weight (flying) when we use to haul wine onboard with us. We always did a pre cruise hotel stay so plenty of time to pick up our wine at Pueblo. Then stop in the store in the embarkation center after security (😁) and pick up a couple more bottles of wine. Smooth sailing after that. 🍷

I'm interested in others experiences or opinions but exactly why we would never book or not book a cruise line, ship, intinaries, etc. based on others positive or negative opinions or experiences.

My guess would be the balcony/veranda makes it deluxe over a standard ocean view stateroom.

We'll be on the Apex in March. Our first E class ship. Staying in a DPV stateroom. Booked for the itinerary not the ship. We'll make our decision after the cruise if we'll like the E class compared to the M&S class.

Not a lecture, but I always review the invoice while on the phone (I never book from the website) with the person I book the cruise with, whether it be directly with Celebrity or a TA. Your stateroom category has no bearing on your wait time for SD.

Kinda. Unlimited drinks only for two hours (5 to 7 PM) at most bars and dining venues except the first evening. Not like RC where you get X number of drinks depending on your tier level, good all day/evening at most bars and dining venues including embarkation day.

Unfortunately that's not a Celebrity CC requirement. That is a requirement with RCs CAS.

You are correct.The CC host will not extend CC HH drinks to someone given a temporary tier level. No laundry perks either. 👍👍

Linen shorts. Sounds like some of my boxers (underwear). 🤣 Shorts are shorts by any definition. All I'm saying is RC doesn't distinguish between the different types/styles or materials when they say under casual wear, shorts are welcome for breakfast and lunch. If I had my way I'd wear shorts every night in the MDR, not just the first night. Wait a minute, I do. I wear my linen (pretty or not is in the eye of the beholder) boxer shorts under my pants. 🤣

Not completely incorrect. She was only given a temporary tier level only for that cruise with limited perks/benefits. Of course she would receive the CC points for the cruise even if she wasn't given the temporary tier level.

My mother is 96 and she'll argue that she's not elderly. 😁

I don't consider 70's elderly. 😁
