We did a DIY trip to Porto Verne from La Spezia. A walk around to the ferry terminal. We never tire of Florence., but a couple of trips to Piza was enough.

We had just about the same menu on Britannia in October. Was very good, you should try it .

Same with All clear, but they are quite competitive and like many, will extract money from your card quite painlessly. -
On Azura next month we have £350 obc for 7 nights. That will pretty much do us. On Iona we will have £630. DW may need to go easy on the Bailey's in the second week.

On Britannia in October. Our 'app" behaved quite well. We could view our account on the TV....unfortunately. No problems with the virtual queue. We joined a queue whilst getting ready for dinner. It caught us out a couple of times with being too quick.

We had ' free ' WiFi on Silhouette. Pretty rubbish, but it didn't bother us too much as data roaming worked OK for most of the cruise through the Fjords. I think our free roaming ends at the end of May. We will need to have some email access so that our financial advisor ( he 's a Nigerian Prince ) can keep in touch....although we haven't heard from him much recently.🤔

No, you don't get offers. P&O gave us a voucher each for a free drink. We take on board a couple of bottles and some water/ soft drinks. We take a bottle, or 2 on board at port stops. You are supposed to declare then when going back on board......yeah..right😂

We are definitely maybe. Just a bit to early to decide on Chrismas yet. No worries about P&O, or the ships, or any cruise company.

How about folk criticising ships they haven't been on based on some adverse comments and ignoring all the many positive reviews. Fair. I don't think so.

We have cruised on Britannia 7 times. We haven't experienced a disaster yet. Best try another one before we complain.

Sounds good. Pre ' you know what ' we went away to a hotel for new year. This year we looked at the prices....HOW MUCH!!!!. I think these places are tying to rebuild their finances in one hit. 3 nights at a Warners hotel was £1,500. No thanks.. Happy new year Ebenezer Zap.🤣 -
Interestingly you can't find out much about saga on the saga forum, apart from the ' no books in the library ' thread. The reviews on the Trust site make for pretty grim reading. We cruise regularly with P&O, Celebrity and RC. No interest in Saga and some folk extolling the superior Saga offering haven't sailed on the new ships anyway.....Happy new year, now Jools is done, time for my pit.😉

We were on deck 10 on Iona. If we looked down we could see onto the deck 9&8 balconies. As we much prefer looking out to sea, or close to the ship to see the marine life, we weren't too bothered. We have been on that deck (8?) On Britannia. No complaints from us. It reminds me a bit of the sea view sketch in Faulty towers.

We will get ready for our fly cruise by getting all the claims forms in advance First one will be to Gatwick parking I expect the parking valet to be dressed properly in white tie and tails. If not compensation should be due.

I assume they had hot food as well. So on the cold selection. Salad , cold meat, cheese, fish. I assume various salad dressings and puds. Just like at home.🤣
