We are thinking of changing our Iona Canaries cruise in October to a Britannia Caribbean in December, but only if we can get PE. The PE cabin gets to Barbados before economy.🤣

I didn't think of that. Next time we can take a big empty bottle and fill it up to take home. We could fill up the little Warners bottles and return them to Thoresby Hall next time. That should confuse them big time.🤔

If they want to save the planet from plastic, that is admirable. So they could use glass at a cost, or just stop doing them and save money as well. Of course, folk taking their own toiletries defeats the object, but still saves the cash.

We visit Warners a few times a year. We pinch their little bottles/tubes and thake them on our cruise. How's that for helping your environmental aims. As you cut down on stuff, we will take our own. We already turn our own beds down and stick I an after 8 on DW's pillow.

Let's hope that doesn't become a regular P&O penny pinching tactic, job swap and multi tasking. I don't mind the captain serving the ice cream, but am a little uneasy about the housekeeping team driving the ship.......The butler did it🤣

I'm surprised you had never had ice cream before. If you sail with NCL,or RC there are self service machines, unlike that P&O. The Ice cream does seem to be getting warmer. Penny pinching .It was much colder in the old days🤣

Not hitting things is my number one priority. Like you, as long as they are qualified, not bothered.

I think many were expecting problems Masks etc. Didn't happen and that was a relief. Lots of highlights and for us, no negatives at all. As you say, a happy cruise.😁

I think we were on the same Britannia cruise in October. I can't remember many folk wandering around with long faces. We will return.😁

We like Britannia, Iona and are on Azura next month. We will go on Arvia when the right itinerary and price come along. I don't listen much to folk who say that they will never sail on P&O as their aunties friend heard that somebody fell down the chimney.

I print ours monochrome. I'm a tight git and a black toner cartridge last longer than colour. I also use sticky tape rather than staples as I'm fed up with digging the jammed staples out of the machine.......and another thing.😡

I guess that many folk just don't test. If they do, for some reason test and get a positive result.......🤐

We have been on over 30 cruises, about 40% on P&O. For every cruise we look at all the alternatives. Last year we were on P&O, Celebrity and RC. We enjoyed them all. Celebrity was the best quality but also the highest price. RC was quite good, but once tips were added, cost more than P&O. P&O were quite acceptable in both price and quality, but we will continue to review each time we decide to book another cruise. 2 booked this year. Both on P&O. Far from die hards we are more like ' floating voters '.

Unfortunately exaggeration is a growing trend. Horrendous means fairly poor . People who have been in Horrendous situations, like a truck plowing into them on a smart motorway, know the difference. Cold potatoes might be mildly unpleasant, but not Horrendous. IMHO.🤔

We didn't know much about it, but stunning. No too much in the way of tourist tat and rip off prices.

We can take or leave formal nights. On Britannia in October the had 4. We skipped 3 of them. On Azura in February there are 2. We are meeting up with DW's family. They like formal ...poo.

If we had paid a lot money for a Christmas cruise we would expect....Christmas. How about nice cruise at Christmas at the normal price .They could sell it as a Christmas free cruise. Grumpy folk would buy it.. I would go.🥳

My mind must be going. We had half a dozen OV1 & OV2 cruises and can't remember any posh nights .Probably the wine wot did it. 😍😂
