That's timely advice, but a lot of batteries. We only have one torch, but will remedy that today in town. We stocked up on candles last crisis, but will have a look in Dyas as we are down to our last 4. Will see if the have another 4.
We did just the for Iona next October. £50pp deposit, booked on board. If prices drop we can cancel,if not OK. All our cruises will be booked closer to sailing date.
Didn't really notice it. Wedding anniversary yesterday. 47 years. I thought looking at the phone in the restaurant, or taking pictures of the food was probably not a good Idea.
The current crisis regarding getting the top buttons done up on my posh night shirts. 2 formal nights on our Azura cruise. As DW said ' my brother and SiL like formal nights, if you can't get them to fit by February you can buy 2 new ones.'....so that circumstance.
On Britannia recently there seemed to be more folk wearing sandals with long socks wandering around the ship. I vote that black shorts, sandals and long black socks are OK for formal nights. OK for the men as well.
Fond memories of St just Rugby club. We stayed in one of the holiday cottages owned by Mrs Hollman and were allowed to use the club house. I put a pound in the second teams whip .That kept me in beer all evening.🤣
Lots of criticism for P&O...so. I booked by phone on Saturday and noticed that I had booked to wrong week...Doh!. I phoned this morning at 8.30. Answered straight away and rebooked within minutes. All with a sympathetic.....don't worry sir, we all make mistakes. Thank you P&O
We have booked a week on her for February. If you listened to negative comments about cruises, cruise ships, holidays, or life in general, you would .....???🤪
The cabins on Iona are bigger, we were on deck 10. Britannia balconies are smaller, we were on deck 9,10,12,14,10 and 12. So the size obviously put us off. More dining options on Iona, better pools on Britannia, Better late lounge on Britannia, Brodies layout a bit weird on Iona. Both are fine, but not the same.
We have just booked a week's fly cruise on Azura. DW remembered her Brother and his wife were on it at the same time. But THEY like to do formal nights....Oh poo !. I guess just this once won't hurt.😉
I must admit that I don't get to excited about energy prices, but we are trying to cut down a bit on consumption. 21oC today, the heating can stay off.
It's often my fault. We booked a lodge in Cornwall. I humped all the bags and stuff from the car park to the lodge. Loads of stuff as we were there a whole week. Car was now empty. ' can you get the blue bag next.....what blue bag....the one with all the towels in it....what blue bag.....I put it in the bottom of the wardrobe, out of the way...Sorry dear.🤣
