    Many years ago we asked for bottles of water in a local shop. The Lady explained " you don't wanna waste no money. Water from the tap in Barbados is the purest on the planet. Only Europeans fall for that.....water in bottles...whatever next. HUMPH!!!. Fill up your water bottles shoreside in Barbados. When onboard we just ask for a pint glass full of ice.

    We have been on Azura a couple of times. The pong is generally in port when they are pumping stuff out. As you say port side forward. It smells a bit like Morrisons, Woking and you all know how pongy that can be. We have had blocked toilets a couple of times. It wasn't us. Ps. Predictive changed pongy to pony. That's a bit spooky.🤣

    Just to make all you poorly folk feel a bit better, about 15 years ago, on Ocean Village I had very similar symptoms. The ships Doctor did some clever things . It was pneumonia and my medical bill was over £1,000. Good news was that the insurance paid up quickly and I got 2,000 airmiles.

    Not being a higher tier member does mean we can eat where we like on that occasion. After our April cruise we will be amongst those privileged few (?).

    We live midway between Heathrow and Gatwick. At Heathrow we use purple parking and at Gatwick we park with Gatwick valet parking and have used both for donkeys years. You leave your keys with both and we have never had a problem.

    Possibly more to it than we will ever know. Actions have consequences.

    We book select and CPS. We only live an hour away so can't really be bothered. When we go a few days early we stay in the new forest. There are some nightmare stories about some car parking operators. CPS have proven reliable.

    DW is out for coffee with her friend...... "if I pay for the coffee I will get 2 beans. That means we get a free one next time"🤔.....I said....nothing.

    We have no idea about the good old days with cheese wheels, drinks with the captain, gin and IT before dinner. We just enjoy things as they are now.

    Their chess sets may be like the MDR. Some of the prawns are missing.

    Our problem is Graham, we are loyal to everyone. NCL had a few good deals last year. We will wait an see, but the Antham cruise to the Canaries is 12 nights.

    Our next cruise is April on Arvia. Then a few land holidays. Next cruise we book will be Anthem, or Iona to the Canaries. Difficult decisions. We will wait until somebody has a deal, but we need 12 more points on RC. 6 on NCL will do, but......🤔

    Who would have thought it Graham, another cruise for Pauline and you.🤣. My guess was Miami, perhaps on RC's new ship. I was wrong so will double up on Icon of the seas before the winters out.

    If you get junk mail with a prepaid return envelope, wait till you have 2. Send junk mail A to junk mail B etc.

    Same with RC. Select your boarding time window, ours was 2.00-2.30, minimal queue, free refreshments and free magazines. With P&O, queue in the car, queue to get in the shed. Sit on the plastic chair, no refreshments available. Do as your told...once on the ship all is well with the world.

    We paid the balance for our April Arvia cruise today. No doubt the price will drop next week. I looked at the MDR menus. Prawn cocktail starter every day. ....I wonder ?.🤔

    Or open up the letter market to competition. It may well be that a commercial enterprise could do things better than the post office.

    2 of our town centre coffee shop owners have shut up shop due to rising costs and large chain competition. Both former owners have become postmen. We spoke to one of them a few weeks ago. He wishes he had done it years ago. Good money, regular hours, no stress and no VAT.

    We have a big 75 on our door, next door have 76 and the house after that 77. Perhaps they need to explain things better in their training. Next time we get a delivery I will immediately check......Oi....see that big silver 75 on the door.
