  1. There is an auction site in Yorkshire. Ebay gum.🤣
  2. At the flowershow week they have bloom cupboards. Ps Atalya City Centre PI has a pool and private beach.
  3. We use high tech descriptions, like big plug, or little plug.
  4. My phone sends me a reminder that I need to be somewhere, but doesn't always tell me where, or why.🤣
  5. Fair doos ICF, not many PI's put you in an inside room either.
  6. Nothing wrong with premier Inns. I often stayed in one when I attended progress meetings for the A13. About £100pn+ breakfast. One disadvantage over a cruise was when you woke up in the morning you were still in.....Barking ( sorry Brian ).🤣
  7. The one direction calendar is quite good this year Jean. Some tasteful images of Harry. I got one for DW.🤣
  8. I just had a quick browse. Plenty of P&O cruises at less than £200 pn for a balcony
  9. Ours. K409. £3200 for 2 in a decent midships balcony. Take off the £560 OBC and that's £188 per night. I did say " About ".
  10. I like the snow storm dome things. Quite appropriate for Christmas.
  11. I like a picture calendar. We keep ours on the back of the kitchen door. I can't remember who gives it to us, but this year's one has a picture of the Great Wall of China on December's and says velly melly Christmas.🤣
  12. Ours arrived last week and we aren't yet Caribbean. It was really interesting with some stunning news, which needs to remain a secret ( concerning godmothers ).It was issue 16 and was much more interestinger than previous issues. 🤣
  13. Some of the old cruising traditions are why we didn't start cruising till 2000. Way to stuffy. Where has the cheese wheel gone ?. What's that. Dinner at the Captains table..no thanks. A dish of warm veg in the middle of the table. Only one packet of biscuits...we don't eat them. To us P&O offer quite a good holiday at a decent price. Some deals on other lines do come along, so we don't cruise exclusively with P&O, nor are our holidays exclusively cruises.
  14. We stayed in Weymouth sea front. £135 pn+ breakfast. £160pn b&b
  15. We looked at a NCL, UK and Ireland 10 night cruise for this summer. £3,200 each in a standard balcony. That is a little more than P&O prices. As you say, + a few hundred for tips. IMHO folk buy a cruise at around £200 per balcony cabin per night and compare to a premier inn. Premier Inn don't include food,or entertainment, or a balcony, or a different location. If purple is your thing and you don't mind your accommodation being in a pub carpark you know where to book.
  16. We had a Celebrity cruise last year. Apart from DW, I didn't recognise anyone.
  17. I remember back to when I lived at home. Mum watched come dancing. The world was monochrome back then, so the Ladies in their sequined gowns didn't register. I enjoyed strictly ballroom though.🤣
  18. I didn't get any emails. Nor did I see any concerned campaigns on social media. We all love a good conspiracy theory.
  19. They each have 10 round trip cruises starting and ending in Athens for summer 2024.
  20. You said Malta and Greece. NCL and RC have ships starting cruises from Athens. We had a week on Azura in April from Malta and didn't have any problems getting into speciality restaurants.
  21. Don't RC, NCL, Celebrity ,Aida et al sail in the Med. Why just P&O ?.
