Friday is " into town " day for us. Bank, shops, lunch. We could bank online, shop online and have Deliverywho bring our lunch. That sounds a bit like meals on wheels!. No thanks. Important decision. Do we drive and pay £5 to park, or go on the bus which costs the council £3?.🤔
We arranged to meet for breakfast and made a plan for the day. Part of that plan was to arrange a time to call our cabins in the evening to arrange dinner. Not very difficult at all. We didn't want to be in each others pockets all day anyway.
Not just P&O. The chancellor should phone HMRC, the health minister try and get a doctors appointment. The boss of BG should be forced to even find a phone number. They are all pretty useless. I needed to attend the hospital. The Lady gave me the direct number. ....Don't tell anyone .
On our next Arvia cruise, we have enough OBC to cover our normally drinks and speciality restaurant bills, so effectively the price we paid was for all inclusive.
Kids can worry you. I was watching telly around the inlaws. My voung niece was thumbing through hear magazine sat next to me. I got a bit concerned when she said " I think I'm going off mine head ". I looked over. She was reading the Butlins brochure.
Considerate chap that you are, I imagine before you go walkabout you would ask Lady S. " would you like me to get you anything out of the fridge dear ?.🤣
As the OP who started the thread 11 pages ago seems to have vanished, I guess the thread drift is understandable. Chocolate is a better subject anyway.🍬🍰
Some folk have no choice and as you say doing things on line can, literally be a life saver. I do have a chuckle at those folk who complain about the death of the high St and then boast that they got a 9.10am delivery slot from Tesco.
Yes, I am exempt. Lots of nurse, cleaners, night workers on low pay aren't. A young single mum needs to buy a new car, or pay £62.50 pw. The czar has said 90% are exempt
I guess the other 10% aren't important. The science behind it is questionable anyway.
