  1. In my humble opinion the jabber experiences less pain than the jabee. I asked for my sticker. Not giving them out this year.
  2. You just spoiled to fun of guessing what spillchock did. I assumed you meant bother. What's a mither?.🤣
  3. Ours go on the Christmas tree.🎅🤣
  4. We attended a couple of RC ones a few years ago. Still got the key rings.
  5. Nothing from the covid jab, but a bit delicate after the flu jab.
  6. Do they use treadmills now instead of the folk rowing?. That's progress I suppose. 🤣
  7. We use a small " carry on " ,wheeled suitcase. A couple of bottles of wine and a few plastic bottles of diet coke.
  8. We will divert there on Wednesday on our way to Bournemouth. Apparently there us a Michael Korrs shop and a Radley outlet. Probably have lunch in Carluccios, so I have been told.
  9. It's out wedding anniversary on Wednesday so of to Bournemouth for a few days. I could surprise DW with a slap up Greggs. After all 48 years deserves a bit of a treat.🤣
  10. Happy birthday for Friday Graham from me and Gail. We look forward to seeing the pics of your celebratory takeaway.🤣
  11. Perhaps folk who use wheel chairs cruised before Lithium batteries. I am sure if the ship catches fire, they would be at the greater risk. Us risk takers could just jump overboard. This started by you saying It was a waste of time reviewing incidents like a battery pack catching fire on a cruise ship.
  12. You can never , in a practical world completely eliminate a risk. Reading Moley's post P&O seem to have it in hand.
  13. Minimising the risk is the jargon. If you know there is a fire risk, minimise that risk.
  14. If a review has already identified the cause, well done P&O.No doubt your procedures will be amended to reduce the probability of a recurrence
  15. When there is an incident in a commercial organisation the companies ISO 7001 precedure will require " review ". Sometimes that review leads to a conclusion that has unpleasant consequences. If a review in this case resulted in a ban, until a better solution was found, that is unfortunate, but I'm sure folk with mobility issues cruised before Lithium batteries.
  16. Several weeks ago ,after seeing the videos of escooters catching fire, I asked the question on here about charging the batteries on mobility scooters and wheelchairs. I can't recall a definitive answer.
  17. I agree with you. Ignore the whole problem, don't review anything. What's a small fire in a ship.?
  18. Not being at those lofty heights I don't know the answer to a question ' a friend asked '. At these suite and high ranking customers exclusive lunches, do they all discuss what level they have reached and how much they have spent ?. On a Royal Caribbean cruise a fellow guest enthralled us all with his Crown and Anchor society pins.....What pin have you achieved ? he asked. I just opened my dinner jacket and showed him the C&A label....jeez , how many nights to get a C&A tux.
  19. But you would miss out on dining with all those interesting folk discussing the quality of the green beans and the good old days.🤣
  20. We stay in a good few hotels in the UK. Half board often includes a set menu with extra cost premium items, so no problem if P&O do the same in the MDR.
  21. Most chain restaurants change their menu a few times a year.
  22. From that far down, it might be the noise of the bloke banging the Hammer to make them row faster.
