  1. My driver for my two open booking deposits was the same as Keith. I want first crack at my preferred category and location. The reason I made two is that I have two different friends who like to cruise with us, and they’re mutually exclusive. I should’ve made a third, b/c we also like to cruise alone!
  2. I’m actually hoping to get an email from Crystal, even before I read it here. I was hoping for today. 😳😉🙄🙃😌
  3. If I told you once, I told you a million times, don’t exaggerate! Plus, I must disagree with your premise. In Dec. of 2022, we cruised in an oceanview stateroom on Celebrity Constellation for $72.50 per person per day. In three weeks, we’ll be boarding Brilliance in an oceanview for $140.50 per person per day. No perks on either reservation. The Connie was a great bargain, and I consider the Brilliance to be a tad overpriced. Still, you can clearly see that our per diem is almost twice as much on Royal, in this case. We’re so lucky to have them both going out of Tampa.
  4. On Celebrity, there are still pillow chocolates every night.
  5. Me too but my towels at home are thicker and larger than on a ship.
  6. Could be the Vintage Room, or extra visits to Prego and Umi Uma, for some categories. If all visits are up charges, I think that’s the best way to use obc. I didn’t see spa visits. Time will tell.
  7. Imagine taking advice from a total stranger. How about you do you, and I’ll do me.
  8. I think they used info of what happened in 2022 to adjust for 2023. And I think they took this long to get it all booked. It’s nothing the guest can control. Have a great time!
  9. I am expecting Nov. but hoping for Oct.
  10. Evidently Houghton was cancelled more times than it was visited in 2023. If I’m thinking of the right place, we lived Silver Islet.
  11. See deck three, midship. It’s called Travel Consultant.
  12. Yes; anyway, we could in the Great Lakes.
  13. I’m shocked…shocked…to hear that cans of sliced potatoes are in your cupboard.
  14. I don’t think the survey says How did you like your dinners onboard. I think it gives choices for ranking, to get an idea of what people WOULD want if they could make their own menus.
  15. Hi Emile, That sounds like a wonderful cruise, at the perfect time of the year. I hope all will run smoothly for you.
  16. It’s a business. It remains to be seen if this (if implemented fleet-wide) is a good business decision or bad. I’m on Brilliance at end of January. Our last Brilliance, this past March, we were absolutely delighted in the MDR for dinner, even though it was scallops every night instead of escargot. And we navigate Windjammer just fine, thx. 😃😋🙃
  17. I’ll be on Celebrity Constellation Dec. 2-12th. I look forward to seeing itineraries when I get home! We have nothing booked after June of ‘23. We often cruise in Oct. and Dec., but January of ‘24 works for me, too. It’s exciting that we’ll see itineraries! Maybe some of my 270 minutes per person on the Connie will allow me to take a peek. Thx for the update, Keith.
  18. I think the first contact person tends to be a newbie. When I patiently, and repeatedly, explained what I wanted and why, my newbie put me on hold and contacted a supervisor. Soon (sort of), I had exactly what I wanted.
  19. I believe the lobster tails mentioned in this new scheme are cold water lobsters, hence larger and better-tasting.
  20. Someplace I read there’s something new for dinner called cottage pie (not to be confused with cottage cheese!). I hope I get to try it on my four-night on Brilliance next year.
