  1. Yes; anyway, we could in the Great Lakes.
  2. I’m shocked…shocked…to hear that cans of sliced potatoes are in your cupboard.
  3. I don’t think the survey says How did you like your dinners onboard. I think it gives choices for ranking, to get an idea of what people WOULD want if they could make their own menus.
  4. Hi Emile, That sounds like a wonderful cruise, at the perfect time of the year. I hope all will run smoothly for you.
  5. It’s a business. It remains to be seen if this (if implemented fleet-wide) is a good business decision or bad. I’m on Brilliance at end of January. Our last Brilliance, this past March, we were absolutely delighted in the MDR for dinner, even though it was scallops every night instead of escargot. And we navigate Windjammer just fine, thx. 😃😋🙃
  6. I’ll be on Celebrity Constellation Dec. 2-12th. I look forward to seeing itineraries when I get home! We have nothing booked after June of ‘23. We often cruise in Oct. and Dec., but January of ‘24 works for me, too. It’s exciting that we’ll see itineraries! Maybe some of my 270 minutes per person on the Connie will allow me to take a peek. Thx for the update, Keith.
  7. I think the first contact person tends to be a newbie. When I patiently, and repeatedly, explained what I wanted and why, my newbie put me on hold and contacted a supervisor. Soon (sort of), I had exactly what I wanted.
  8. I believe the lobster tails mentioned in this new scheme are cold water lobsters, hence larger and better-tasting.
  9. Someplace I read there’s something new for dinner called cottage pie (not to be confused with cottage cheese!). I hope I get to try it on my four-night on Brilliance next year.
  10. 😁 Last March, they were on the menu every night but were scallops instead, every night.
  11. Of course it isn’t the Crystal you knew and loved!
  12. I love the food porn, too. The two menus @garrymorere posted look wonderful to me! But is this Symphony, or another ship?
  13. Our friends are booked with a big box agency. They were offered a scavenger hunt-type tour, similar to the t.v. show The Amazing Race. I can’t find it offered anywhere else, although I did find something called Pirates, Puzzles and Rum Hunt on TripAdvisor. I can’t recommend either! But if we end up doing the first one, I’ll come back and let you know about it.
  14. Wonderful report, KenzS. Looking forward to all of your next adventures!
  15. Dear Sweet OP, What fun it’s been to read your thorough posts. Thank you so much for taking us along with you! Keep enjoying. —May B
  16. What might “local bourbon” mean, do you think?
  17. Thank you for the nice report and great photos. Looking forward to the continuation.
  18. 😋😋😋😋😋🍱🍱🍱🍱🍱🍣🍣🍣🍣🍣🧋🧋🧋🧋🧋🎏🎏🎏🎏🎏 💗💗💗💗💗
  19. I have to agree with EmileG. I thought the guides and crew in the Galapagos with Celebrity were outstanding. They did a better job on the zodiac than what was done on my Viking Octantis, where things were actually a tad more laid back.
  20. Roy, sticking to your principles is good! I’m glad you were successful.
  21. I thank you all. I’ll switch to 3039. That was my initial guess.
